Its a f&%#n problem to found out if someone wrote you back a message....there are tooons of pages here...so i guess i miss a looot of stuffs......i prefer a forum like the www.johnpetrucci.com Thats the way it should be, because im loosing interest since i dont see a real interaction whit other members....maybe its just me.....

Hey Satch!!! Its been a while. Hello Satriani realm. I hope the new year brings the best for all of you. And also, i hope everyone gives the best of themselves to everyone on this earth, lets begin with us, its not that hard. You know i am not a regular poster nowadays, as i was before back then, but im a TRUE HEARTED DEVOTED FAN of you ALWAYS.... Well, i have to write because now i have a fav. Satriani song: "Engines Of Creation" GOD!! What a song!! Even if i dont want to, it just keep playing on my head over and over.....those intrigating chords at the begining followed by that amazing phrases......I love when you do that Satch, playing over a structurated background, but here on this song, i think you showed us (...well, to me...) a sensitive way of talk and show your brain attached to your heart. If this was an improvised stuff or a song you had on your head its the same....its a Complete Masterpiece. Now i understand an interview i read back in the 95 i think on a guitar magz, were you said that someone was waiting to hear "The Extremist" (your latest album back then....) and this "dude" were waiting to hear some "Shread-a-laMalmsteem-stuff".....He was disapointed because he was waiting to hear some crazy fast parts on your songs. I can acept that in some way, i was like him before but thanx God now i dont. I also tanx God that you understand the musical concept on those early days. Music its not a competition, just a way of expresion, and it should be universal (and thats what your music its about, you DONT HAVE TO BE A GUITARIST TO LOVE YOUR WORK...) For those who whine about why "Strange Beautiful Music" dont have to much "shread" on it, i feel sorry for them. They just see the top of the iceberg, they cant apreciate the inner emotion this music represents. Now i can lay back and sitdown without the worry in my head of "could i be able to play it?" Now i enjoy it. Really Joe, you are the only guitarist i hear EVERY SINGLE DAY of the year and i never have enough of those songs. Just want to let you know what this mystical magic make me feel every day.....Engines Of Creation....guys, give it a listen once more......Thanx Joseph Satriani, tanx for not being a "show of-guitar-prankster" waisting your ability to comunicate emotions with unneeded virtuosism parts. You still my hero. Dont ever forget MEXICO, you bet we dont forgive you. Once more TANX Satch, God Bless you and Rubina ans Zak. Gabriel.

"It is Stu not boo"-Tanx 4 answer me man, ill check it out.

"MattKing" -FLIGHT OF MIND was very tripy. I can feel the freedom you have achieved on your playing. The sound was too much like...."in your face" (...and i love it that way...) Its like the Satch "Red Album", the way it was recorded i mean, ....it was intentional or.....? That part at 1:47 was the spot of the song, very well pal...your tone its killer, and i just compared the old "Time" recording to this one and i hear an enourmous increase on your sound....Very GOOOD song, B U T, you still sound like Satch (...not a bad thing uhh...) i think that you could be a totally monster talent if you hear another guitar influences, mix them up and come up with some original inner stuff from you. Dont be a shadow of a great guitarist when you already are a great guitarist, but SHINE with your own light!! I dont try to throw sh1t to you, you know it, but i heard 100000 of guitarists trying to emulate Satch, of course you are the greatest in that, and never reach a higher level because Satch its their goal. That doesnt allow them to grow up musically speaking. You are a great virtuoso already, and young too, 2 very special tools on this bussiness.

Clarky- WORD!!!! and im still waiting for those "special stuffs" that you were cooking.....

MATTKING: i never spect to read an answer as good as that you wrote me. I honestly trust in what you said. At the begining i was "hooked" into Satch music, and still i am. That "Satchy" style of you its getting on a very higher level everytime you play something new. Today i showed your song to a guitarist friend of mine, and i told him that this song was "The eight steps" and he TOTALLY BELIEBE IT!! I man.., Matt, your playing its almost exactly as Satch, your choice of notes are almost the same as him!! I was listening to the solo section and i realize that you used some Satch licks-cliches on that part.....that gave me a crazzzzy idea...I really HATE the Joe solo on "Oriental Melody", the worst Satch solo EVER!!! Try and play a new solo over that spot and upload it please...i mean, if you have the time....Anyway, i hope you the best and CoE the same. Iy you can, give a listen to www.marcelcoenen.com "Inner Alchemmy" song and tell me what you think....Ther same for everybody around....this was the best last year song for me... Keep together and dont let anything corrupts your friendship.

By the way, heres a direct link to the song, its a video of him playing the song, it worth every second!!

http://users.skynet.be/bs223245/inner.rm

(somebody make the video "clickable" please!!) --------------------------------------------------------------------------

OCPS470 I will D/L your song tomorrow pal and i will give you feedback when i finish to hear them. By the way, im not a "newby" around my friend.....im one of the pioneers-old-members of this web page. I just went on a vacation tour to the prog-rock side of me to the "DreamTheater" world and decided to live there on the www.johnpetrucci.com city....But the best place to live its here, on Satch´s realm....

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Paul Clark :) Tanx!! And check your mail too!!

Marcel Coenen "Inner Alchemmy"

Now...this is SAD....i posted a link for you guys to discover a new great guitarist that apart from being a great virtuoso ( the best guitarist over the Netherlands) have too much class on his choice of notes, a lot of feeling, and great songs.....and not one single comment review.....why is that?

Why are you guys so close minded when it comes to open your ears to new music? Do you beliebe the instrumntal rock that Satch plays its the only good music in the world? Dont misunderstandme, he is the greatest on what he do, but dont you love to know more truely amazing artist that WORTH the listen????

I said this because (as example) Matt post a song (kick ass song by the way......not try to bash you, you know it...) and then you guys hear it almost imediatly because , apart from being a great guitarist\musician he plays very similar to Satch.....

Dont bash me, you can listen to whatever you want, but i just wanted you to share something i found that was great to me and it may be great to anyone because its 100% pure quality music.......im not trying to change the way you admire-love-wantobelikesatch.....just telling what i sense here...

I bet you guys, most of you dont even know about Neil Zaza, Andy Timmons, Shawn Lane, Chris Brooks, Marcel Coenen, Mattias IA Ekluhnd, Michael Romeo, Rob Balducci, Rob Johnson, Rhon Thal, Ophet, etc.....

I just wanted to sugest you a new world of music that may open your mind to an extraordinary musical level....

If you dont like what i sugest you to listen, its fine....but give it a try...

Its a little funny to me read all those comments about KISS being the fullest emotional band on earth and some forum members geting mad because they overrate Satch and Vai..........Have you guys ever noticed that i am trying to open your eyes\ears in a similar way here???? They only think KISS its the ultimate band on earth and here, most of you (not all) think Satch its the ONLY good talented instrumental rock guitarist around....he is indeed a monster guitarist but there are also a bunch of other talented musicians around who can be compared easily with Satch´s virtuosism and good choice of notes and class on his playing......not to mention the tremendous talent on their songs......Now i feel like AVARICE on his conspiracy thread :) LOL!!!! It all depends on the wirror you look at......
