Brother al........ What the hell is that all about?

michelle........Thanks for your kind words. As for the arresting officer. He was a young cop on a power trip and that came from the cop that shook our hands. Well we knew that. Anyway, It just was nice for a cop to fess up like that. As we all know that don't happen a lot if ever. I was a little taken back but apology excepted lets move on. Reguards to the robbery. Turns out it started on Fri. night through out various sections of the town. They hit 35-40 cars. There's an retired Sherrif that lives 11/2 blocks from me. He got hit and they even took his badge from the glove compartment. One guy got a hold of one of the robbers and had him by the legs. The robber took his boot off and was beating this guy on his head untill he let go. The dude had a mild concussion and identified them as two Hispanic boys in there 20's. The evidence cop took prints from my boys cars and said they got good prints and they could catch them from the prints. My boys had to be finger printed to eliminate there prints off there cars. You're right you feel violated. You just don't think it will happen in your nieborhood. Sometimes I think these guys come from Chicago which is only 20 mile straight East from our town. They case out the town and then hit it. Who knows? With the random bugleries all over town I may not be far off. Will see ...I hope they catch them. Nice ending to this fairy tail......IMHO....LOL......What else can U do? Like you said I'm glad no one was hurt. It just.....well..... SUCKS.

Stevee T....... Like I said I missed something. Thanks for clearin' that up for me. I thought it was the name given to the guitar based on the serial #'s. ie: 00001,00002,00003 etc.

Have A Good DAY ! ! ! !

Joe...... Where R U ? We all got the Blue Blues. Lets see some Blue....... PLEASE ! ! ! !..... Hugs to the family, band and crew. Take care.

Good Morning Satchland...... How Are We Today ?

I got this email and wanted to share this with you. This says it all. This is a story in the Tampa Newspaper.

Will we still be the Country of choice and still be America if we continue to make the changes forced on us by the people from other countries that came to live in America because it is the Country of Choice??????

Think about it

All I have to say is, when will they do something about MY RIGHTS? I celebrate Christmas, but because it isn't celebrated by everyone, we can no longer say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's Greetings. It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't it winter break ALWAYS occurs over the Christmas holiday? We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended ! But it seems that no one has a problem with that. This says it all. This is an editorial written by an American citizen, published in a Tampa newspaper. He did quite a job; didn't he? Read on, please ! !

IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans. However, the dust from the attacks had barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd began complaining about the possibility that our patriotism was offending others. I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America. Our population is almost entirely made up of descendants of immigrants However, there are a few things that those who have recently come to our country, and apparently some born here, need to understand. This idea of America being a multicultural community has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans, we have our own culture, our own society, our own language and our own lifestyle. This culture has been developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH, not Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, LEARN THE LANGUAGE ! ! ! "In God We Trust" is our national motto. This is not some Christian, right wing, political slogan.. We adopted this motto because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.

Part Duex

If Stars and Stripes offend you, or you don't like Uncle Sam, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet. We are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we really don't care how you did things where you came from. This is OUR COUNTRY, our land, and our lifestyle. Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express his opinion and we will allow you every opportunity to do so! But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great American freedom, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE. It is Time for America to Speak up If you agree -- pass this along; if you don't agree -- delete it!

AMEN

I agree with this 100%. Then I started thinkin' about what we are doing in Iraq. Are we or are we not doing the same thing?Forcing are beliefs on a country that hates us to begin with. They relaliate by blowing up innocent people, there leaders and killing our soldiers. I'm a little confused. I don't like the things stated above in the letter. I don't like Terrorism either. But I also don't like us trying to change a country into our way of life. That's there society and beliefs. Does that make us hipocrites? Where than lies the answer?

Have A Great Day ! ! ! !

FYI...... I got the Dec. issue of Guitar World. It's a tribute to Dimebag. I can't belief it's been almost a year. Vinnie speaks out publiclly for the first time since Dime's murder and it's very moving. The video of Dime on the CD is great. Dime talks about his love for Dean guitars and how his endorsement came about and other things. Zakk Wylde does a tribute to Dimebag with his video and song" In This River" Nick Bowcott plays Dimes favorite licks live on video and It's awesome..... A must have if you're a Dime fan. Take care.

Have A .......you know the rest ! ! !

How about a little fun? Trivia about sex.....

What a wonderful world we live in ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In Lebanon, men are legally allowed to have sex with animals, but the animals must be female. Having sexual relations with a male animal is punishable by death.

( THAT makes sense.) *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

In Bahrain, a male doctor may legally examine a woman's genitals, but is prohibited from looking directly at them during the examination. He may only see their reflection in a mirror.

(Do they look different reversed?)

*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Muslims are banned from looking at the genitals of a corpse. This also applies to undertakers. The sex organs of the deceased must be covered with a brick or piece of wood at all times.

(A brick??)

*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The penalty for masturbation in Indonesia is decapitation.

(Much worse than "going blind!")

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

There are men in Guam whose full-time job is to travel the countryside and deflower young virgins, who pay them for the privilege of having sex for the first time Reason: under Guam law, it is expressly forbidden for virgins to marry.

(I'm coming out of retirement

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

In Hong Kong, a betrayed wife is legally allowed to kill her adulterous husband, but may only do so with her bare hands. The husband's illicit lover, on the other hand, may be killed in any manner desired.

(Ah! Justice!)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Topless saleswomen are legal in Liverpool, England but only in tropical fish stores.

(But of course!)

*~*! ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

In Cali, Colombia, a woman may only have sex with her husband, and the first time this happens, her mother must be in the room to witness the act.

(Makes one shudder at the thought.)

*~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~**~*~*

In Santa Cruz, Bolivia, it is illegal for a man to have sex with a woman and her daughter at the same time.

( I presume this was a big enough problem that they had to pass this law?)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

In Maryland, it is illegal to sell condoms from vending machines with one exception: Prophylactics may be dispensed from a vending machine only "in places where alcoholic beverages are sold for consumption on the premises."

(Is this a great country or what? Well . . . not as great as Guam!)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour.

(Who volunteers for this stuff?)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure.

(Is that why Flipper was always smiling?)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

The ant can lift 50 times its own weight, can pull 30 times its own weight and always falls over on its right side when intoxicated.

(From drinking little bottles of .... ?)

(Did the government pay for this research??)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Butterflies taste with their feet.

(Ah, geez.)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain.

(I know some people like that.)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Starfish don't have brains.

(I know some people like that, too.)

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

And, the best for last:

Turtles can breathe through their butts.

(I know people that talk through their ass! Does that count?)

Cuth.... I figuired my post would catch your eye and get your attention. Like I said I was a little confused but you made some interesting points. It seemed hipocritical to me. As far as the imigrants go. I think they should learn English for many reasons. Most importantly...just to communicate with other English speaking Americans. I think this country makes it to easy for them not to. In my town there's a billboard for State Farm Insurance all in Spanish. That in my opinion is totally uncalled for. As far as Spanish as a language in this country. My wife is an ESL teacher( English As a Second language). She's trying desperately to teach these kids the importance of speaking English. Last year a student ask her " Why do we have to learn English?" Everywhere I go in my town they speak Spanish" It got me thinkin'. This kid is right. The influx of Spanish speaking people in this country is climbing at an alarming rate each year. It's to a point where they don't have to speak English cause no matter where they go there's someone who speaks Spanish. The maufactures who sell product know this also and want there money so they print Spanish on the cover and on instructions of whatever they're selling. I don't know how to stop this or where it's going to end. Well.....It's not going to end. But if you're living in America I think you should learn English and use the language. That's what our language is. English. Don't get me wrong. Anyone has a right to come to America. So be it. I've been in constrution most of my life. I've worked with Mexican's throughout that time and have many friends and some nieghbors that are Mexican. They're good poeple and work hard for what they have. But like the letter states. This is our culture and society. This is how we live. Speak English.

FYI..... I don't know if guys remember my posts awhile back making the announcement that analog tape is dead and that Quantegy was out of business. Then I posted awhile later and said a group of brave investers bought in and resurected analog tape. This is an annoucement from the AES show recently held in NewYork.

Analog Tape is Back

AES shows seem to move in trends. A year ago, tape was pretty much declared dead. Well, fuggitaboutit!!! This time around, tape seems to have made a resurgence; not necessarily in terms of recorders, but new tape sources. Quantegy showed a full line of studio products, with GP9, 499, 456 and a range of digital, from DASH to ADAT stock. Those whose tastes run to Euro flavors were pleased to see RMGI showing your fave Emtec formulations, beginning with 1/4-inch SM911, and followed later with SM900 and others. And ATR Magnetics -- a spinoff of Michael Spitz' ATR Service Corp -- offered a preview of its lines of pro analog tape in all widths that will begin coming out of a new state-of-the-art facility in the months to come. This tape revival is great news, especially for those of us who crave that fat, sweet sound of analog tape. We are lucky to be in an industry that can choose from a rich palette of tools -- both new and old -- to work with. Just don't forget to print alignment tones on the head of your next project!

Just thought I'd let you know.

Steeve T...... Did you make to the AES show? How was it if you did?

Have A Great Day ! ! !

Remember my post about Guitar One's Oct. issue " Monster Chops ". Well these excersises have increased my left and right hand coordination tremendously. It has increased the strength in my right fingers also. This morning I was doing the morning ritual of crapping out last nights dinner. When it came time to do the paper work(no jobs complete till the paper work is done) This new found strength....you guess it......poked a hole right through the paper. LOL..... Man was I pissed......LOL....I was hating it.....LOL. Well now you all know .....I'm a righty wiper. Us righty wipers must unite. Make thicker paper is our battle cry. ....LOL....I was thinkin that could be a good name for a band. The Righty Wipers. LOL....Who here at T2J is a lefty wiper? Come forth....Show yourself. You are a rare breed and must be converted.....LOL.....

Cuth..... I didn't know you had a son who served in Iraq. I'm happy for you and your family he's home and safe where he belongs. Your quote....And here I was waiting for "but momma, who f*cks the stork?" That's should be a part of the joke. That was brilliant. I love it so.

Good Morning Satchland....... How R U Guys ?.......

Chicago White Sox...... YA Baby......

Steven Wilde...... I was so happy to see you post. I acually heard myself gasp when I saw your name. Then I read your post and gasped again. Sorry to hear things are a bit rough for you still. We're hopin' and prayin' things will turn around for you. Man it's good to see you. Keep the faith. Be strong.

Mari..... I'm glad to see you arrived safe in the UK. I wish your departure was a little less stressful. Bastards ! ! ! Anyway, take care my friend. Have a blast. Say hi to Mr. Vai and Co. for us.

Bonamassa was on fire fri. night. When we pulled in Joe was standing by his bus. I rolled down the window and shook his hand. He remembered my name from given him my bands DVD in July and oploigized for not watching but promised he would. The band was spot on and they were mixed perfectly. As you remember last time I saw Joe he wasn't to friendly 'cause he had technical problems all night. But Fri. night he was a man posessed. Unbelievable show. I talk to the band after the show and told them they throw one hell of a anniversary party. They couldn't believe we came to see them play on our anniversary. It was a great time. If you like Blues or Blues/Rock you have to check Joe out. He's a great guitarist. http://www.jbonamassa.com or http://www.bonamassabluesrock.com you'll find my bands link at this site under Street Team Musicians.

Whew ! ! ! What a weekend. Celebrated our 26 th wedding Anniversary Fri. with Joe Bonamassa, Sox win ALCS, Bears win. My original bassist is back in the band. My son Aaron started his carrer job today. I DON'T EVER WANT TO COME DOWN FROM THIS CLOUD.

Thanks to all the well wishes for our anniversary. You guys are great. We love ya. Take care.

Cuth..... I'm glad your son is only 6 and he's nowhere near serving the military. My mistake. But a good one. Take care.

Joe..... We need Blue. We need Blue.....Take care. Hugs to all.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! !

Stevee T...... Joe B. pissed me off the first time back in July. I knew it was his technichal problems through out the night. It pissed him off and he carried that with him off the stage. It was great being there this time for all the reason I stated earlier. He really is a great guy. What a difference a night makes for a band. Same band . Same venue. A completely different show. It was awesome. You could feel the energy. I would love to get a review on my band or better yet have him sign the guest book. My bassist is back from the first line up. Mick is on the media page from the web site. We're audtioning drummers next week. I'm hopin' I'm back up and runnin' soon. It's been since March of " 04 " that I've haven't played with a line up. I can't wait. It's been way to long. Take care.

962...... I like the Mac. I boought a G4 Dual about 2yrs ago and got extra ram. The G4 is running at 1Ghz with 768 megs of ram. I went Mac 'cause thats what I learned on and also for iMovie and iDVD. I agree about inputs for recording live instruments. I got a Digi oo2 with an Octopre. The Optopre is a 8 ch. mic pre with Adat light pipe. It sweet and I patch it in with the light pipe. I love my Monitor Ones. I have one of the first pair made. I also have the RA100 power amp. I want to get the Event Precision 8"s. They are the best bang for the buck for powered monitors. Check out my site. On the media page I recorded and filmed the band live. I mixed the tracks in Pro Tools and imported them into iMovie created the movie and then burned in iDVD. What was sweet about that is the syc issue. I bumped the first track around until it loocked to the video. Because it was hard disc recording I didn't have to worry about tape speeding up or slowing down. From the first song the rest of the tracks were locked. I loved it.

Good Morning Satchland.......How are you today?

962...... To me there's no Mac vs. PC. I think it's whatever your comfortable with or choose your software and buy the computer that runs it. I thought about a PC when designing my studio. I thought about it for a long time. I stayed with Mac cause I was familiar with it and I knew I was only going to use it for music and for DVD production. If I was going to multitask with it (keep records, on line banking...ect.) I deffinetly would of went PC. PC rules the business world and leaves a Mac in the dust especially with software options. I'm happy with the Mac especially with iMovie and iDVD. When Garage Band came out it was like a savior. Now you can create song ideas almost on the fly and import them into Pro Tools. I wish iTunes would have some kind of ripping software with basic editing. Maybe a future upgrade?

Suzo.....I'm glad you like your Mac. What are the things you like about the Mac over PC? I don't use a PC alot and Im curious. FYI..... My original bassist is back and he's English. Mick is a great guy and I'm glad he's back. Our personalities blend perfectly and that helps a great deal for many reasons.

Mari...... Happy to see you post. Sounds like all is well. Have fun. Get back to the states safe. Hugs to you.

Chee..... Great song. I wish I had a chrommie to. I lookin' into a JS1000 when I can afford one. Have your son post his opinion on his XTLive. I'm curious. I want one of those to. Yes....I'm a gear slut. I admit it.

Joe..... Let's see some Blue Baby ! ! ! Hugs to the family and crew.

Have A Great Day Everyone ! ! !

How about some comedy ? Comedy makes me laugh. What a stupid thing to say.

Perdro and Maria

Pedro and Maria got married. Pedro was a "man about town" so to speak, but Maria was very naive and uninformed about the birds and the bees.

Pedro was a poor working man and could not afford to take time off for a honeymoon. So, that night they retired to his little shack. When Pedro was undressing Maria said "Oh Pedro, what is that?"

Pedro being very quick thinking said "Maria, I am the only man in the world with one of these." And then proceeded to show her what it was for, and Maria was happy.

The next morning Pedro went off to work as usual. When he returned home that evening Maria was on the front porch obviously upset about something.

"Pedro, you told me that you were the only man in the world with one of those, and I saw Gonzalez the gardener changing his clothes behind the shed, and he had one, too."

Thinking fast Pedro said, "Oh, Maria, Gonzalez is my very best friend. I had two of them so I gave him one. He is the only other man in the world with one of those."

Marie being very stupid accepted his answer and they did their thing again that night.

Pedro went off to work again the next morning and when he returned home Maria was very upset, stamping her foot on the porch.

Pedro said, "Maria, what is the matter now?"

"Pedro, you gave Gonzalez the best one!!"

OPCS470......I agree with 100%. It comes down to what your uses will be with the computer. I knew I was going with the Digi 002 and Pro Tools LE. I posted on Digidesigns User conference board and the answers were that Pro Tools ran smoother with the Mac. I don't the technical reasons why they just said it did. I guess the Mac OS was more stable. for Pro Tools. If I'm not mistaking when Digidesign started it was a Mac only Co. I could be wrong. They obviously support both platforms now. Another thing I was concerned about was losing PC customers with my studio. In Pro Tools when you set up a new session you can check a box that says Mac/Pc compatible. This allows the session to open up on a PC. How sweet is that. Of coase the PC has to have Pro Tools installed but it is a great feature. You can argue and joke all you want about which platform is better. But I think that's a waste of time and breathe. If you like what you're using and it works with what you're doing. How could another platform be better?

Spizzaz..... Good to see you also. I'm still in Chicago and I finally think I have a line up for the band after almost two years of searchin'. Whew ! ! ! About time eh ! ! ? I saw the National Anthem video. Nice. Looks like you had fun with that one. I'll let you know when we're out. Love to meet you and get your input on the band. Take care.

Sugarbaby..... Thanks. Of all people my mother in law sent me that one. Scary...... Oh well,we're getting close to Halloween...LOL....

Also, I saw Bowling for Columbine last night on Bravo. You Canadians our sure lucky. I don't know if you've seen this documentery. Part of what I lerned from it was how what an open society you Canadians have. Unlocked doors. No murders, no assults with guns. It seems Canadians go by Brotherhood and Love and respect each other and ones property. It clearly shows how our goverment and news media crams fear and violence down our throats. They gave murder statistics around the world from handguns. Most Countries were under a hundered. The US....an alarming 11,000 + people. That's not a typo. I was shocked. ....but not surprised. God bless you guys. I'm happy for all Canadians. Got room for 4 Americans?...LOL....Take care.
