Greg M - I have that picture. It's a 2 page Guitar World mag foldout. I got it signed by both Joe and Steve at G3 2001.

Silmarien - The picture was taken at night time after an interview. ... and yes to scales.

Michelle - ...found it: http://etrata.home.attbi.com/flash/banana.swf

Alexandre - Lately, learning Christian Alsing - Nut; by ear. I finished a few days ago. I have to perfect it because it's as hard as hell yet, probably the third easiest song on the album.

I have a bunch of original song ideas but not enough motivation to actually work on or record them. http://richardhaier.iuma.com - check this out if you want to hear some demo ideas i've recorded in the past. http://yngvaitriani.tripod.com - 4 shred videos, nothing special. Actually my "...Gilbert..." is just plain sloppy after watching it now. Thanks for asking. You have anything happening yourself?

Plum Loco - Your Silent Lucidity cover ROCKS.

Iambic - Thanks a lot. I won't be on the T2J cd. Cost and motivation to finish my tune.

Ethn - You rule. I especially like your "makes me want to beat a small child" remark. I use that one often. That soccer mom stunt is golden.

r6r - Yeah i'm waiting to hear this album. Seems to be taking long.

Ovation1 - Ha, that IS funny.

Alexandre - Let us know when there's some new stuff up.

Austin - Oh ok, right on.

PhryDom - Oh, so when is the cd's released planned for now?

OCP - Your City Walk song is awesome! I love it. Excellent phrasing as usual and SUPER CLEAN playing.

McDave - No prob. -- smashed Epi. LP? HAHA, oh man, what happened there?

Ovation1 - Paul would be great for G3. My main reason for Paul being great: Paul is known well for his improvised blues chops and grooves. He kicks so much ass sometimes.

Plum - Thanks man. Soon i'll be near broke. Owed money to parents + driving school.

Alexandria - Hey, I talked to Justin before. The part of your message that hit me the most was that he was joking around with you 2 days after the accident and dying after that really burns.

From the things people have said about Justin, about him never having a frown on his face and the type of warm presence he gave off told me I was missing out on something because I didn't speak to him that often. Actually the only time I talked to him, he mentioned that he didn't like my blues as much as SRV. Not that it got to me but, I respect honesty from another guitar player rather than "Yeah it's cool"

I hate hearing that cause you know you're getting a load of .... when you hear that. You seem to understand the music terminology yourself. I can see why you got along.

I could be completely wrong, but you seem to be taking it well yourself. It's just text, I could be wrong.

Anyways, A big, man that bites(my condolences), coming your way.

Graham - Haha strings! Ha.. haha....heh.... HA!

Invigor - One of my fave guitar riffs Joe has put together yet. I'm still blown away by Talk to Me.

satchfan - Amazing, how did you get Squares stuff? Paul Schaffer? Cool...

Anyone here notice the Ending of Talk to Me is almost exactly like Back to Shalla Bal?

The Prez - What chords in Hordes of Locusts are you talking about? I can play the song note for note. I played it live in December. http://richardhaier.iuma.com

There are some nasty sounding chords which use the top 4 strings. No big stretches required.

Satchfan - 10k. You ARE nuts. Man, you could bought a nice car and done some nice performance mods to it.

Jelly Man - Damn straight to Slow and Easy.

Alexandria - Well I can see why you 2 got along so well. You've heard my music? Wow, thanks. What did you hear exactly (sorry, don't mean to shift the subject, i'm just curious to know what of mine was heard ... then I start going "well you should hear this and see this.. ANYWAYS!) I can really see why your personalities clicked together from your posts and your text attitude.

Boyd - Ah, the neck joint. That's kind of a high contact area to heavy lead players. did he actually sign the metal? Metal is easy to wipe stuff from. Especially marker. Gee if it was my guitar, i'd somehow find a thin piece of glass that could fit nice and flush over the neck joint and tape it down somehow. It might look like hell but it gets the job done. Hey, that's me. I'm actually working on modifying a cold air intake on my friend's car. I put the intake on today with him and unfortunately, in the area the intake is, there is lots of engine heat. to combat this, I want to get him some heatnig duct and route the air flow lower in the car and try to somehow give it a crossflow or RAM air performance. MAKESHIFT home projects. Look like hell but might work out just as well in the end.

12 pages of posts, skimmed through in 1 minute... Lydian is the greatest rock trio i've ever heard. Hopefully, they'll find room for a second guitarist and I can join.

Hamdo - Ah thanks a lot. I've known how to play guitar for 10 years but I only consider myself to be playing for 4 years. That's when I started to get serious with guitar but i'm still way behind for the time i've been playing. The songs on that site are mostly demos. It's worth checking all of them out. Styles vary greatly. If you want, you can also check out http://yngvaitriani.tripod.com - 4 shred video clips. Just for fun.

hamdo - Thanks again.

Guitarcake - Thanks a lot.

Alexandria - Wow, that would defniately be a first, upside down JS1000. Yes, it can be done. There's no reason why not. Just make sure you clean up the saddles as the wound strings tend to leave some grooves which could be not so good for the higher strings.

Alexandria - Take it apart to inspect the finish cracks? Where are they first of all? It's probably not worth it. Ibanez is known to paint and finish their guitars well.

Saddles? (just double checking to make sure you know, I don't know if you know or not. Saddles are the 'string holders' on the bridge plate) You would get to see if the surface is worn when you take the strings off to invert them anyways.

Matt - I've never really dug the song before but the live version of 'Celestial...' impressed me very much.

Matt - The bass guitar definately needs to stand out more in that take of "Days..."

I just couldn't hear it well at well. I thought the rhythm guitar was done well but the song was done just a little bit fast. When you do things live, they tend to be a little faster but I think this song should not exceed it's recorded tempo.
