LOVE THE NEW SITE! Oh man, looks great. I agree with Guitarded Boy though. The background just needs to be dark so it's easier to read.

The T2J section I find harder to read what with the seperated pages and text boxes.

I sort of preferred the old way.

12 DAYS..........

Evbro - It's this interview sort of cd with Steve. Basically him talking for 12 minutes about himself and music. ................. GUYS - I heard there is some picking in some songs. Reference: Mountain Song or the end of Belly Dancer (i've never heard the songs, I know from talking to people) I was wondering if it was Joe himself picking or Robert Fripp?

There's soooo much to read now for some reason. There's 4 times the posts there normally were. AGH ..... I think the post time limit would be good again. I mean what else would be the point of editing messages?

There's Joe. First blue text on the new site. ..... New book? ...... Isn't it a given that guitars drive you crazy?? Let us know the story. ...... HAHAHA in the band/crew section, Mike Manning, Super Power: The ability to sleep on any surface. GENIUS.

Masamune - You say that the tension on the strings is increased when you block your floating bridge? One thing you have to keep in mind is that when you bend a string on a floating bridge, the bridge gives in a little. Yes it's easier to bend but you have to bend the string further to hit the desired pitch. ........ It's interesting how when asked for the reason of a fixed Edge, one of Joe's reasons along with liking the sound and feel of a fixed bridge, he also mentioned how he likes the sound of the Edge. The Edge/Lo Pro are made of speltered metal. Perhaps it gives it's own tonality as a body wood would.

http://www.baseballjunkie.net/features/archives/000101.html ..... A short mention of Joe. Nice to know some people recognize him. .............. Oh by the way, YA YO - I have been lsitening to SWTA lately... wow. I mean all the guitarists in the 80s try to be the fastest, most aggressive player etc... but on this album, Joe ends up accomplishing all that, while making sense out of his music. Crushing Day. My God. JOE PLAY CRUSHING DAY!!!!!!

DEATH CUBE - All the strings? It has happened where one strings breaks and the tension added to the others and they all end up snapping. That has never happened to me and it is a rare case. However with heavy whammy work, you're lucky if you're strings last 2 weeks with daily playing. High E and B are the 2 that break pretty quick. I haven't touched my JEMs for months. Sick of that damn trem. I have to block it.

Death Cube - Also make sure every time you change strings, check the saddle. There may be a groove worn into the saddle. Get some very fine sandpaper and buff it. Helps a bit.

IBZTONE - I went out of whammy aswell. I only play my standard bridge Ibanez. Springs at max tension. Can't whammy unless you're The Incredible Hulk.

Alien32/Hansman- Beautiful Choices. Clouds is inhuman. Trundrumbalind messes with my head near the end.

KB1 - Have you only listened to the samples? The songs would most likely get heavier throughout. Have you listened to Mind Storm. That apparently is not easy lsitening as you have said.

Thanks WEBMASTER, you rule. Love the collage picture. So this year Joe will have a full time rhythm guitarist? Galen Hanson. For both EOC and G3 2001, Joe didn't have Eric as ryhthm. .... THIS TOUR SHOULD RULE. It would be better as a solo tour in North America though.

Austin - The reason Eric never played at Toronto had something to do with the Canada U.S. border. We never fully found out what. .... JOE what did happen to Eric at the 2000 EOC tour in Toronto?

GREAT news and HORRIBLE news.

Great news, Joe IS playing CRUSHING DAY and I will flip out at the show.

Horrible news... SBM isn't being released in Canada until September... well at least at HMV. WHERE CAN I ORDER MY COPY TO ARRIVE ASAP?

PLUM LOCO Man that blows!!! Canadian SBM release date September. .... Ok so if I order the Jap release of SBM, will it be exactly the same as the North American release but with the bonus tracks? What will the difference be if I order the US release of SBM?? I NEED IT ASAP! I haven't heard a single thing yet!!!!!!!!!!

Guitar Art - Greg Howe is good but I say if you really want 3 guitarist to come together with something amazing on stage, PAUL GILBERT is the guy who'll live up to that.

Kirztal Planet - Ok so you like Dream Theater, but I would still rather see Joe play a 3 hour solo set. I want to hear all the classics broght back and 90 minutes won't be enough to cover all the old and new tunes many of us are waiting to hear. And you said you can't wait to see DT and Joe jam on stage. Are they actually playing together because as far as I know, they each get seperate 90 minute sets and one of them closes the show depending on what side of NA they are on. Hey, I like DT but not quite enough to see them live. Yes they're great musicians but it doesn't mean everyone HAS TO love the fact they're playing show with Joe. .............. As long as CRUSHING DAY and a few other classics such as MEMORIES and HORDES OF LOCUSTS are brought back, they can do whatever they want.
