hey kayla, how are you. Sorry to hear about your sister and all. Im okay, down her in vegas. Its actually cold here in the middle of the desert. I woke up toay and it was 75 degrees. I'm freezing!!!!. Thats beacuase i'm used to it being around 105. Any how, Im doing good on the guitar. Recording some new material, and some cover songs, here at my home studio setup. Hey kayla, did you ever get a js guitar. I have 2, and have owned three. I must say that the js-100 is a great guitar, for the money, but my favorite of all of them, and i've tried them all, either by owning, or playing one in a store, is none other then the js-1200. I play mine non stop. The other one i currently own is thje js-700 with the p-90's Great thick gibson les paul like tone. Very Sweet guitar, but no tremelo. But because there is no floyd rose or some jkind of floating trem. it packs a little exttra oomph that the floating trem js's dont seem to have IMHO. Thanks ffer saying hi kayla, and everyone is to have a grerat day

hey kayla, are you gonnna get a red js-100, or a black. Personally i like the red better, because the black shows off every fleck of dust and every fingerprint. The red is a lot purtier, in my opinion. Let me look around to see where i could find a good deal. Have you thought about ebay. I have gotten some really nice guitars off ebay, in execllent shape , for a bout half what they cost new. And theres always a ton of js-100's on ebay About the recording. I am finishing up a song today, and i could then post a linl to my soundclick page. Thanks for the loveley comment about my playing. And have a good day kayla.

Hey kayla, If its the red js-100 you want, the best deal ive found new from a sotr on line is around 700. On ebay theres one that i think is in mint shape, or like new, going for 559, No case inclided though. Thats a great deal, i paid 800 for my first js guitar, which was a js-100. Let me know if this helps you.

Hi all, and a merry xmas to all. I am playing in a band, and have a fewe questions. First, is is it possible to connect to most stage monitors with a guitar cable, or is an xlr required? Second of all, does anyone have any sites they know of for guitar players, for playing in a band sitiutation. also, does too much bass and distortion and fx wash a guitar player out in the mix? And what would someone suggest as my main amp. pick from one of the following--Mesa boogie mark IIC, Carvin legacy, Engl Powerball, Peavey 5150, Marshall 100 watt super lead, Marshall jcm 2000,/ jcm 900.? Thanks for helping

hi all, i had a few questions., I just got a new amp, ( a peavey bandit 112 80 watt amp. I was wondering, for a classic rock sound what settings would i use. With presence, bass, mids, treble, resonance, modern/ vintage/ hi gain voicing. And what about for joe sounds, what setttings would you reccomend there? I also have a gnx3000 ( digitech, with eq, and fx and amps) where would i be best running that, in the loop maybe. I also have a dpi 700 watt pa speaker. What would you reccomend that i Do for classic rock sounds, and more modern rock sounds. And what are the best delay settings, for classic rock, or joe. any help would be much appreciated. Thanks alot

Hey deathcubek....this is Chris....I see you have a Bad Monkey digitech pedal....

What are the settings you prefer, and what's the best way to use this pedal? Either as the main gain source on the clean channel, or as a boost for the distortion channel?

Thanks cube.....appreciate your help! :)

hi all just got 2 new pedals, and i have been trying to figure out what is the best way to user them in conjunction with an amps clean ch and an amps dist ch. i have a peavey bandit 112 80 watt amp, with two seperate chs with modes and all that good stuff. The two pedals i got were a ibanez ts-7 with ts-9 mode and a hot mode, And a behringer od100 pedal with tone volume gain, and a knob for od/ dist sound or mixed. i also have a zoom g1 in the loop for extra eqs, and delay and reverb. My question is how would most people use the two chs, like would they use one on the clean ch, and one on the dist ch as a booster, or what. What is the most versatile way to run the 2 ods/ dist's and two amp ch's. Any settings would be great also. and hi cube my mom said you said hi.

This is chris, Thank you all for the lovely 21st birthday wishes. I had a great day with my family, and went shopping, and got a ps2 system, 6 games, and a 1000 watt phillips home theater system, among other things. And the stuff my mom did, all the items in quantities of 21, was pretty darn funny. thanks again all. Chrispy out

hi all...chris here just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the congrats for my new jsx stack....Im lovin it....pure bliss

I have one question...every once in a while....with or without the guitar plugged in....it makes a rustling scratching noise...with an occasional pop or two.... i cant figure it out ...even with nothing plugged into it... and on the clean ch...with no gain going... If i very gently tap on the head...or knock on it very lightly.. the sound goes away...but returns later... if anyone could help me figure this out...it would be much appreciated.. thanks

Message to joe...Hi joe this is chris...my mom (cheese 101 ) told me you posted to her... The problem im having with the amp.. With all knobs at 0 ...and nothing plugged into it ..so only the power from the wall is hooked up and the head is connected to the speaker cab...it randomly starts making strange crackling rustling scratching noise...And when i tap on the head...it goes away..only to come back again later... Its doing it all by itself ...and ive determined its not ac wall power or radio interference.. (it was doing the same thing in the music store i bought it at).. Thanks a million joe...i love the amp....your the best joe...thanks again :)
