To Brother Al, From Chris, Cheese 101's Son.

I am a guitar Geek, and know where you can find just about anything about joe and music guitar, etc, on the web.

Thisd will help, Becuase i know 2 quick ways where you can get a borg sex backing track today! (#2) Can Be burned onto disk, and is not Junky old Midi Format.

1. Go to http://www.guitar-pro.com/eng/Home.php and download the trial software. then go to www.mysongbook.com, and type in borg sex under search for tab. You should get a new window open. Click on the icon on the new screen that looks like a floopy disk. (Its small). Then if you get a message on a blank screen, refresh the screen. You should get a new window, that says do you want to download this file. Click on it. Then Click open. You should get a tab file like screen. Over where it says the instruments, click on guitrar #2 and click the (M) Next to the instrument name. Then go to the top bar that says sound. Scroll down to play from the Beggining. and your done. There is now way to burn this backing, only Tape record or play along with the computer. So if you want tgo burn it, try Process #2.

Process #2 Email me at satrianiaxeman@yahoo.com Its A lot different, and a lot better. And takes a while longer to explain

This is a post from Chris, Cheese101's Son.

I bought a Pod Xt Live from my local Music Store for $280, only because I am a good friend Of the Dealer From www.musciansfriend.com it'll cost you $399 on sale Most places charge you $499.

The Pod xt live Is an amp simulator, and Recording miracle.

Its got 36 classic Amps In it, All extremely accurate to the real thing, 24 Cabs, around 80 Fx, including an effect called octave fuzz, similar to the Fulltone Ultimate Octave. It's got everything from Mesa Boogies to Fender Bassmans to 6 Marshall amp simulators to Roland JC 120's and to rare jems like Match, D30's, and hiwatt dr/103's.

For the effects it's got 3 different kinds of fuzz, several different distortion boxes, compressors, chorus, leslies to the Hendrix U-vibe, 14 delays, 16 reverbs. It's also got everything from in depth graphic equalizers to microphone settings. There's even an expression pedal that has wah, volume effect and tweaking of other effects.

I have a decent knowledge of electronics and I've figured out about 95% of it in the first two days. This may sound like it is not that complicated, but it is with it's in-depth editing of basically everything in it. Its also got a built in tuner. All the amps sound very real and are all different and good for different things.

Here Is a link for all the specs on the xt live.

http://www.line6.com/podxtlive/

2 last things- You can download Tones from www.customtone.com. Just recently available.

Email me If You have any other questions- satrianiaxeman@yahoo.com

Hope this helps,

Chris

This is cheese 101's son again, I was wondering if anyone out there has a digitech whammy, and could tell me how to get a sound out of it that simulates 2 guitars in harmony. There is a harmonizer fx section on the pedal. I know how to work the harmonzier, but just cant understand why it doesn't do the doubling.

Do i just need to someday buy a boss super shifter. Help would be very much appreciated. Thanx

This message is to dck, or anyone else who can help me. I have a peavey amp that has the two fx loop jacks. I have a digitech whammy, a boss ds-1 and a l6 pod xt live pedal board, and a dunlop wah. Which pedals would you reccommend going into the loop and which into the input jack for the guitar? I only have 4 cables or maybe 5, so how many more would i use or need, i have never used my fx loop part of the amp Any help would very much appreciated.

Thanks, chris

frisco....Joe does have an opening act going on first...and it's a heck of an opening act. Eric Johnson is playing for the first hour, then they do a quick set change, around 15-20 minutes, then Joe plays for around 2 hours.

So you might be able to get there in time for Joe if you hurry from the airport.....hope this helps!!

Greetings people of satchland. I am happy to be out of high school, and am now entering the real world of reality... Staying home and playing my guitars, 12 hours a day...but my mom says I now need to get a real job. Darn! Thank you all so very much for all your congrats, It is very appreciated, and a very special thanks to waterproof soap for his wonderful post. Also a very special thanks to cheese 101(my mom) for always being a good mom, and helping me to get thru high school, and stay out of trouble. She says it was a hard job!!

Yes, I did receive the wonderful present of a candy apple red js-1200. I now have a js1200, a js100, and a js700. I would highly recommend a js-1200 and a wonderful mother to fork over the cash. It is an absolutely screaming guitar, and a tone machine. I recommend them to everyone, except cube who we all know doesn't like js's. To each his own. :)

Thanks again all... And here are a few pics of me and my js's and a graduation pic.

Thsis straight from msn regarding the shootings:

NICKEL MINES, Pa. - At least six people were killed Monday in a shooting at a one-room Amish school, the county coroner said. The identities and ages of the victims were not immediately available

The shooter was among the dead, state police Cpl. Ralph Striebig said. “There are also a number of wounded,” he added

Three girls, all critical with gunshot wounds and ages 6 through 12, were admitted to Lancaster General Hospital, spokesman John Lines told NBC affiliate WGAL-TV.

WGAL-TV also reported that the shooter was an adult male who had entered the school in rural Lancaster County and started making threats The school is situated among farmlands just outside Nickel Mines, a tiny village about 55 miles west of Philadelphia

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Two schools were locked down Monday while police searched for a teenager who had been spotted on a high school campus with a gun, authorities said.

No students were hurt, and police said there was no initial indication that the teenager, who they said was not a student, had threatened anyone with the weapon, said Sean Walker, a North Las Vegas police spokesman.

The teen ran from the school after being confronted by campus police as students were arriving at Mojave High School, Walker said.

A handgun was found behind a nearby church, and both the high school and nearby Elizondo Elementary School were locked down while police searched the surrounding neighborhoods for the teen, Walker said.

School districts across the country have been especially sensitive to threats after deadly shootings last week at schools in Wisconsin and Colorado.
