yep, i seen many a song mislabeled on limewire and back in my Napster days, especially amongst the different G3 guitarists, remember one guy had everything listed under Steve Vai when it was Satch and Johnson :( respectively for thier songs

Hey Joe, been wondering about the validity of those guys auctions, if you pop in soon can you chime in, are they legit with thier claim and helping you weed out the gear closets, just wondering, Im just leery of the evilbay lately, it used to be a great resource but these days its just more of breeding ground for alot of dishonest folks

i used to get cool rare toys for pretty cheap, now folks just try and scalp and its no fun anymore to collect some of that stuff, too much money :(

what a crappy weekend this is turning out to be, all that stupid rain ruined any of my outdoor plans, pollstar shows nothing cool anywhere here or in austin this summer for any live shows, at least stuff I would want to see, what few bands I would love to see again that are out touring are totally ignoring this area period, so this summer aint looking good for going to 6th street like i usually do at least twice to see something.... I could I guess go to Zilker park for the Austin City Limits Festival, but this years line up at least in my opinion ain' that great, not like in the past, its not till sept anyways, out of 130 bands across 3 days on 8 stages then only reason I might go is to see the great Victor Wooten on the bass with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, that dudes a monster with a bass guitar ;) none of the major headliners appeal to me, no eric johnson either this year :( I just can't believe this years lineup, oh well whatever floats your boat, im sure for some folks, they are happy as can be with those acts, in additon to the well known acts theres always plenty of up and coming folks, might discover someone who catches my fancy Im not aware of yet but no one major to really get excited over this year, bummer

anyhow, at least theres good movies throughout the summer being released, and theres joes surfing anniversary release too look forward too...

grrr and to top this weekend off my spurs got there rear ends handed to them on a silver platter and without the vaseline either :(
