i've never been brave (or drunk) enough to try strange food combinations...

clarky : i can relate to the karate story... i've been training karate/kung fu/kickboxing for over 15 years... teaching for a large portion of that ... its very difficult to explain to new students that basics are the THE most important part of training... bad basics leads to even worse advanced techniques... the same applies to guitar playing (i'm understanding that better now!) or almost anything that we can learn in life...

AAARRGGGHH!!! why oh why are bosses such (how can you say it??)... ASSHOLES!! i've been home injured for the last 2 weeks because i stumbled on some stairs i was cleaning at work. i have badly strained my achilles tendon and wrenched the ligaments in the front part of my ankle. now my boss refuses to aknowledge it as a work injury because there was no witnesses. the closest guy to me was 50 metres away in another room... i'm really getting frustrated about this now...

matt king : (cool surname btw)... i had winME on a laptop computer last year. never had any problems with it. but... we never got to use it very much because someone thought it would be fun to bust into our apartment and take it, along with our dvd player.... anyways i use winXP and its dammgood...

ford debate : i was 2 days away from my first driving test when my instructors ford escort diesel decided it would give up the ghost... at a t juction... in the middle of the rush hour. needless to say i had to learn how to drive a new car in 2 hours before my test, couldn't do it and failed...

i am still waiting for my mitsubishi galant to arrive now...

i've been here in denmark now for 16 months or so and we should get our car soon... i contacted the insurance companies and asked about me getting cover for the car... i assumed the price would be astrnomical because of the fact that i was only used to driving on the left hand side... but i found out that, because i'm over 26 i can classed as a... get this... elite driver!!!... cool...

clarky : i just worked out the G everywhere thing... i'm feeling quite chuffed with myself now :-))

clarky i have got the first three down fairly comfortably, but the others need a little work still. but i can go 1st pos - 2nd pos - 3rd and back again without to much trouble now.

the whole thing just once is an exercise in itself, but i will take your advice: slow and steady to start

clarky : i've heard of radio gladsaxe, but never actually listened to it... at least i don't think i've listened to it... i may have heard it when i was crap at understanding danish!!..lol... but i don't get to the copenhagen area that often... why the interest? got a gig or something?...

ovation : i've trained in seminars several times with an english Goju Ryu master called Jon Alexander (i'm ashamed to say that i can't remember his title in japanese)... he taught myself and some other blackbelts how to handle a katana correctly... he even let me borrow his own for s short time...(which is a HUGE honour!!)... i was terrified i might drop it!!... one of the nicest guys i've ever met in the martial arts circles...

left handed debate : i've heard that lefties like mark knopfler and gary moore just picked up right handed guitars and started playing... they have both said that it works better for them because the stronger hand is doing all the work...

my first gig was at the NEC for the 'joe satriani tour' in 1995... i took my dad along with me and he has been a fan ever since...

ovation : do they use the term sifu for Goju Ryu?... i know that it applies to kungfu because i'm a sifu myself in lau gar... i believe that jon alexander has written a book or two on the subject... speaks fluent japanese and passable chinese... and yes a real katana is heavy but a good one should be nicely balanced... mr alexander's was so well balanced it was almost effortless to use... i think it was about 200 or so years old too... do you still train?

D C K thanks bro... i never considered that my rig was that good... i'm still looking for a decent amp and effects board... what do you play?

clarky : yup exactly like that and then the other way round too... just to spice things up!! it takes me a while but the exercise is great... i can even hear when i play a bum note in the scale now... i added no 5 to it today... i'll be good with 6 and 7 by sunday, thats my goal... watch this space...

my selection for the third spot G3 would go to a guy here in denmark... his name is Tim Christensen... he has had several succesful records here... ok he may not be a shredder but i think that his guitar and song writing ability could be appreciated by a lot of people of this site...
