james moon: I know it, and I have it, but if you can't be arsed to come here and see the reply to your question, too bad!! :-P

If I was this fabled ficticious (IMHO) guy, the last thing I would like to see if I came back would be a load of people wearing crosses :-/

ethn: yup, you're right. (at least one of) the official books even says so - the rhythm parts are tuned C F C F A C, but I guess some people can only read TAB :-/ and we all know Joe doesn't play the rhythm part live. Maybe if some people would bother to learn how to read manuscript there wouldn't be confusions like this!!!!!

Hey does anyone here email Joe personally? Have you heard from him lately?

Later all, Dave

EDIT: Spelling mistakes ;-) LOL

GutterBoy: you might be full of it(LOL), but you're right about Nashville tuning. There's NO WAY you could tune your E B and G strings up an octave without seriously wrecking your neck! Yes - you get some unwound strings and replace the E A and D strings, and tune them up an octave

R6R: nothing like wagging it to play guitar, is there? ;-)

FIABD Discussion: I think if the melody guitar was tuned differently it would say, but I'm not a TAB reader ;-)

Later everyone, have a great weekend.. oh and even if my mouth's open, please don't shove your religious views down it ;-)

LGU89 (Leanna): You said (and in BOLD too!): Can everyone just stop talking about religion. But then you spent half my screen talking about religion. Does that mean you're better than the other people who talked about religion? Or that you forgot what you had previously typed, only a few second before? :-/

/\/\ike:you're a good lad.... big pigs' things?!?!?!?! YUCK!!!!!

Martina:Yeah, the dominant of Bb if F, but try and remember (Clarky, you need to post your older Theory Posse stuff somewhewre) that if a key has flats, then all other notes will be flatted, and likewise for sharpened notes. And of course each letter only gets used once.... I know this isn't much help right now, but it's late!!!!!! Email me, and I'm sure you'll soon have it firmly sated in mind....

Take it easy everyone.... Dave

EDIT: There are spelling mistakes, but it's Children In Need, and some nice TV presenters might get their kits off......I need to vacate the computer..... Brits will probably know what I mean!!!! Enjoy your weekend !!!!!!!! Dave

hey white British guitar players: If you get offered the job of being in the backing band of an artist who wants to spread to the US and is (even partially) black, don't bother. Do a search on Yahoo UK news about Craig David. It seems racism is rife in that most PC of places, the USA. Sad but true.

MarkusMack: Although I'm not Joe, your modes "lessons" really do not give a fair or accurate description of what modes truly are. And to mix the theory and application of modes with "economy picking" really is quite sad. I didn't look at the rest of your lessons, after reading your "Application Of Modes" I felt it would do more harm than good.

Yeah you're so right Nick. How stupid is it? If anyone's interested, I found a news article about it here. I watched Children In Need till the end, while surfing other channels too. All I needed was to see Sophie Raworth heh heh ;-)

Mr Nick: Yeah she was on BBC Breakfast or something until yesterday, but I believe she's left now.

/\/\ike: There's a track called Deep Water (whose name has since changed LOL), and I've re-recorded it and rearranged it. I was thinking about releasing it as a Japanese-only extra LMFAO!!! And seeing as you live where you do, you'll get that bonus track!!!!! Sincerely, thank you very much for when/if you do order it :-)

Naty: 1: I know who sang it, but I cheated, so I won't say!!! 2: When I get an order I'll discuss your payment with you!!!

ethn: Good question! Apart from the live DVD Joe's thinking about doing, I'd like to hear some mic'd-up guitars on the next album, but apart from that I just want to be (pleasantly) surprised :-)

McDave: Is that as in MK & BFD???

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend! And sorry for the long post! Later everyone, Dave

vbil: you've been quiet! and please tell me if I'm wrong, but it wasn't a small (or any other size of) boy who was asked / told / made to squeal like a pig...... (well in the movie of course... perhaps where you come from it's a different situation....) perhaps your new persona can give all us sheep a run for our money ;-) ...?

vbil: No.

/\/\ike: As the first paying customer you're going to get something a little special ;-) It might take me until Friday or so to get it in the post though... sorry for the delay! And thanks again for the plugs!!!

MarkusMack: I was a little harsh, and I apologise for that, but no I'm not any kind of super-anything - far from it!!!!!!! Maybe a super-a-hole at times though ;-)

Martina: The dominant is the fifth note of the major scale... it's all part of the mediant, leading-note, supertonic stuff... hope that helps you a little :-)

Happy Monday to y'all! Later, Dave

I know I'll probably regret answering this post, but ahh what they hey.... damien if you knew what an artificial harmonic was, you'd know it could be bent, and if you had even half a clue you'd know that you don't need a whammy bar (proper name: tremelo arm) in order to bend a note.....

OK I need to eat... probably a good thing cos of the urine-extraction team online tonight ROFL!!!!!!!!

McDave: perhaps this will be the only only post of mine that you actually read, but Joe himself (yes our Lord, Saviour and Master [no comments thank you vbil!!!]) said "learn it and forget it, and it will serve you quite well indeed". I don't see any reason why somebody cannot learn the rules to know why they are breaking the rules. At least then instead of coming up with something by accident because they like it they know why they like it and so can call upon it again. Just IMHO and my tuppence, etc, but doubtless to go on unread as usual.....

uffa! EDIT for spelling, again!!!
