darxmac and greg m i asked Jon to set the "last read" thing by user account and not cookie when the new site was launched... he said it might be on the cards, but not right now.... and he's a busy (and probably sleep-deprived) man right now... :-) HTH, Dave

tobb you have the album but you don't know its name? tut tut tut <hands on hips>....
ollyno1uk all you need are 2 PCs 2 NICs, 2 network cables, and a crossover box... you can pick these up at computer fairs for about 50p
invigor play to a metronome, and start slowly, don't go faster until every note is clean...i know it's boring but it's gotta be done! oh, and it's allowed to wrap a scarf around the first few frets to stop extraneous noises! ;-)
Avarice Trent only pretends to do things with animals... (yes I've seen the videos)... he's a bit of a lightweight when it comes down to "the real thing"... kinda like some other people I know of... :-P
y'know, being away from here for a few days makes me realise how much crap is talked here!!! What was all that about the Italians? And their women? Stereotypicality can be dangerous when not everyone knows your *true* emotions while you're typing.... perhaps some people need to grow up a little or at least bite their virtual tongues.... but who am I to tell you what to do? ;-)
btw... email is still not working yet, so don't be mad at me if I haven't replied or written! Man a long day.... eleven dogs here so I had to do three walk shifts... and shortly I have to take one of them home, then go back to the old house to finish moving out of it, and then clean it! Paul got the CD yesterday... v-e-r-y- impressed mate! I've always wanted to know exactly *which* notes were the "wrong" notes to play... and you got it down man! I'll write more when I can (hopefully this weekend); suffice it to say I woke up hearing track 1 (your intended track) in my head at 0530 today! and there's no cd player, no hifi, no nothing where i woke up this morning!!!!!..... take it easy everyone, and enjoy your weekend! hi guys, sorry I've not been around for a while.... life certainly is full of surprises, isn't it? Finally got the last van load of stuff over from the old house to the new one last Friday, then find out on Saturday from the (very emotional, abusive, and angry) owner that the estate agents didn't tell her that we look after people's dogs while they are at work (day care) or on holiday (sleepovers)... so she's royally mad and wants us out of here. The neighbours (get this) have been keeping tabs on how many dogs are coming and going, what time, etc.... so, even if we can show her how good an operation we run here we don't wanna stay with neighbours like these... man I feel like I'm being watched every second of every day!
Bankruptcy is the second best option at the moment (tons of debt and potentially no income and nowhere to live)... the one above it is *another* big move... this time miles away to Essex... but things take time and cost money... I'm leaving it all to Mr Fate... I know he always does the right thing, but it'd sure help if he told me why *at the time* rather than six months later!!!!
Good news from Trutina about the extension - come on gang - let's make a good CD!
r6r this has been vexing me since I wrote it.... when I said "wrong notes" I meant those fusion-esque ones, not bum notes! It sounds like what I always wanted *me* to sound like! Sorry if I threw you off there... like I said... things have been well crazy here!
And I realise there are people who are getting killed, and people who can't eat, and I have a very good friend who is HIV+... who the hell am I to moan about life's ups and downs? I'm relatively lucky, and I'm going to try and remember that every day for the rest of my life.

I'm keen to hook up so we can share ideas, just let me find out WTF i'm living first! We can also get drunk and laugh all night about how much avarice really needs to get a life and how his only friends are probably his cleaner, his landlord, and his binman.
strength of heart: thank you so much. your reasons for your current vocation have crossed my mind too.... not exactly the same end result, but something coming from a similar feeling, like i feel i *have* to do something.
man this neighbour situation is getting to me (go on avarice - i mentioned a weakness - why not rip it out of me you coward).... i'm subconsciously looking for hidden mikes and cameras!!! man i need a day off!

I really liked some of them but was asked to remove them..... if Jon EVER adds the voting thing here we'll see who/what is the "winner"... but I choose to not vote cos my faves have been taken away from the choices. And why? Because some people relish in typing things that sound "funny" so it will make them look good/better, not thinking about those people they are mocking.... feet and mouth spring to mind, but hey, you can't tell the perfect ones that they're wrong!!!!!

been listening to a lot of King Crimson and White Zombie lately... helps me get through the day..... it's an awful shame that we lost one of our brothers recently... heartfelt condolences to his family and friends... as I checked T2J today and read the news I felt compelled to write a little something (as did a few of us others)... it's available for all on my site... look for the update date... but dedicating the CD....? Somehow that doesn't seem right or fitting to me. Flame me all you want, but this CD exists for a *different* reason.... Justin is gone, and far too early, but hey, so are so many others.... just my personal opinion, please don't hate me for it. Dave

hi gang... just checking in.... Benny "whatever" (said in the best possible taste!... (well, if you know who Kenny Everett was you'd be smiling now).... no hard feelings man... life's too short for falling out with each other... especially when we've never even met! ;-)
I watched half of some DVD last night... something about a fat greek wedding... then the DVD decided it was too scratched to play any more, so I didn't see the end... better luck this afternoon was Austin Powers in GoldMember.... better than The Spy Who Shagged Me, IMO... pretty funny (despite terrible sponsorship placements and "currently famous" pop artists' appearances...) I particularly liked mini-Austin :-)

hey gang... just another meaningless post.... but hey what's new LOL.... Avarice good call re: theory-trousers' memory.... but is there anything positive you can post? :-P maybe you'll get some new fuel for your normal stuff later in this post.....
My song of the day today is Rock Bottom from Strangers In The Night by UFO. So there. A 19 year old guitarist played all that extended solo thing, and I love it.
Speaking of 19 year olds, I finally hooked up my old Tascam four track to my PC (I even bought the desk & soundcard to have four simultaneous INs for it, just never got round to it!!!), so there are now two VERY old (from when I was 19ish) (and badly played, I admit it!) tracks on my site... click me! you know you want to!....
Got some bad news from the owner of the company I work for tonight.... it seems my recent house move (which I knew would be a short stay) is now going to be even shorter... and I have to stop trading immediately! Anyone live near Southend and have a job for me????????

hi gang... a quick post.... LAN here is acting up again! &-( finally got rid of all house guest dogs this evening, now just my two babies Oscar & Lucy are here.... tomorrow will be my first day off since the third/fourth week of November!
Still working (seeing as I'm mainly offline at the mo) on converting old four track and cassette stuff into computer files... there are a few on my site www.sharpfour.com, and I'll have another four or five to upload tomorrow, with GASP SHOCK HORROR!!! vocals!!! (although not my vocals! I'd never unleash that on anybody! ROFL!!!!)
