Well, first I wanted to say that you are my largest example in view of playing the guitar and humility. I admire you each time if I hear to your songs - and I hear it almost continuously. I’m looking forward to see you in Ulm in June… I’ve got about 170 Tracks and all Joe Satriani CDs, some DVDs and a big “The Extremist”-poster from the tour ’92 when you played in Hannover is grazing my room. As a matter of course I’m trying to emulate your style and play to your songs in so much that I’m able to. Is that a right clause?? No savvy… :-)

I’ve got a exceptional question, that’s the reason why I’m writing you. In your solos, you sometimes make this whistling tones with your tremolo which sounds like a spaceship start. I have no idea how it works. I was looking to some videos on the internet and my DVDs, but….. Is the Whammy part of the sound, or some artificial flageolets? Hmm….. Only your hands are around the tremolo. I know, it’s a amusing question, but I love this effect, which is coming out of a guitar.

Maybe you’ve got some minutes to make short work of my fidget. :-) I’m looking forward to hearing from you…
