Well Satchlanders....today is gonna be a bit strange for me....not 4 weddings and a funeral...just 1 wedding and a funeral...kind of....

I feel kind of special though coz only those with a special invitation can go to the crematorium coz it doesn't hold very many...they are expecting about 400 at the hall beforehand...anyway I got an invite....aw poor Justyn...18 is no age to go...just seems like yesterday that he was here for sleepovers with my son....I have a sweet picture of him when he was about 8 curled up in a dog basket coz he wanted a dog but his parents couldn't let him have one at the time so he pretended to be one....poor little Justyn...

Anywayz that's at 12.30 in one big town but then I have to get my son to another big town about 30 miles away by 2.00 for the wedding, which seems easy but I haven't got the address & only rough directions on how to get there and its gonna be dinner hours rush in town....I don't think we gonna make it...although the limo doesn't leave till 2.30 so that gives us a little more time...he may have to jump out of one car into another but hey supporting Justyn's family is more important anyway!

Don't fancy talking too much, there was at least 200 at the hall for the first part of the funeral, it was squashed standing space only, a few nearly fainted in the heat. But it was a lovely talk...they read out a card that Justyn had made for his mum and dad (it was their 25th anniversary the day after he died)....it was quite jokey...a retirement card hehe but he said in it how much he loved them and appreciated all they did for him and that he didn't use the term love lightly he really meant it....it was so nice just like him and the whole family....the cremitorium talk was lovely too...but I have to say I hate the thought of people just being burnt up like that I really do!

Oh after giving them all cuddles we had to shoot off...we just about made it to the wedding house on time....Troy got out put on his flower, I took two photo's and as I left the stretch limo turned up...phew that was close!

962 - Religion doesn't come into the way I feel about burial/cremation it's just the way I have always felt....for me, obviously it is a personal decision for every person...we all different....there is this place in Wrabness, Essex called Oakfield Wood, where you get buried then a tree is planted where you are...so there is this whole wood now....you get a plaque about you on the tree for a year....then its taken off and the wood has a protection thingy and is managed by Essex Wildlife....anyway that's what I wanna do.....I would hate to spend eternity in the same place too, if I was alive, but you are completely ...well dead, when your buried so you don't know your in the same place...coz...well your dead and you don't know, think, feel, see, hear, smell etc anything, you could be moved every day and you wouldn't know...same as if you are a pile of ash....yep your free to go where the wind carries you, but you don't know that coz....well your dead!!...But what you did for your dad, knowing his way of life was lovely and definately very fitting :-)

The fear on motorways works both ways if I am driving or passenger.....I guess when I have had to go on a motorway...I guess its better when I am driving coz although I get sore hands and shaky knees I can't cry coz I gotta watch...actually no that's not true...last time I drove into London..the only time I have driven into london the tears were streaming down my face and I nearly collapsed when I got out the car...so neither is better!
