this will make you laugh...my all time dumb blonde moment that has lasted 28 years!

OK Saturday, I got all nostalgic and dug out some old albums, one of which is a compilation of Rock Tracks called Axe Attack from 1980, with the words at the top and a painting of a bloke in jeans and t-shirt with kiss style face paint and he is attacking the words with a guitar.

So I am listening away on Saturday (the likes of Rainbow, AC/DC, Sabbath, UFO, Gillan etc) and I am thinking "WOW I never realized there was so much great guitar work on this album!"

You gotta admit...that's pretty blonde n Homer Simpson rolled into one!

Still it was great to get nostalgic ....haha played my King Kurt album...they were great...

we went to see them around 1985 in the tropical paradise club in kensal rise...why there? Coz they had been banned from most places by then....why....well coz when you went to their gigs you took a bucket of beans/flour/gunge with you...and so did they.....at early gigs ...if you were male you HAD to wear a dress...drinking games...as in drinking lager through a long tube started the evening on stage...when we saw them, we got off the tube not knowing where the place was...but it was OK coz we just followed the trail of flour and eggs up the road....when we got to the place there were some hefty bouncers on the door....lookin bewildered and just letting everyone in coz they were also covered in flour eggs and beans! The support act was the pogues...after they had finished..."do ya wanna be in my gang" came on over the speakers and suddenly the whole place divided into two halves with us in the middle wondring what was goin on, not for long though coz suddenly plastic beer glasses were whizzing over our heads as everyone was singing, then everyone ran together again.....the band then arrived and things went bonkers!

haha twas a mad gig all right...and guess what...I just found out they are playing in Camden on the 23rd of Feb!

May just have to go!

well....going up to see the farm side of where I will be working today.

I have to say....getting a new computer is a pain in the butt....coz everything you had installed and saved as favourites on the old computer is not there anymore....you try and install and you need a password and...grrrrrrrrrrr.....when I scan my pictures it does it in a whole new way....and its definately not as good....that last drawing looks waaaaaaaaaay better than than in real life....grrrrrrrr....and we haven't got any programme like word or publisher any more.....

oh my word 4 hours can be so good!

Hi Everyone....

Wow went to a stonking gig on Saturday night

Actually it was three in one and all for £11....we actually went to see King Kurt...a band we used to see 20 years ago, but they were being supported by Hollywood Suicide who were brilliant and Death Valley Surfers....the are all Phychobilly Punk bands but you will never guess what...I was up on stage playing with the Death Valley Surfers TWICE!

Oh my word it was brilliant ....such good fun....I can see why guys wanna be in bands now...it was great!

coz I was up the front...at first he put the mike in front of me...I turned away coz I was embarrassed..I mean I had never seen the band before in my life...didn't know the words...I turned back and he held it out again....by the third time I just whistled in the mike...I do a mega blast your eardrums whistle....anyway then he invited some girls up onto the stage...me being the first of three...we all got maraccas and joined in the song Tequilla....the lead singer was also busy handing out a bottle of it to the audience...then at the end he said "shall we get the girls back" the audience cheered and we went up again....I am hoping someone will post a vid on you-tube or something....these are my pictures....

During King Kurt I felt this tap on my head....as you can see from the photo there is a kind of balcony to the left...the tap on the head was from Mr Surfer (lead singer of Death Valley Surfers) who was standing above me.....I was too into king Kurt to care much though....at last i could join in the singing...wasn't gonna let him distract me!

All the bands were great though...fantastic night!
