Hey Joe,

I am wondering if the Shure bullet mic harp rig you have is custom made (harp frame welded to mic?) or is it something that you can buy. It would be perfect for when I'm gigging with my band.

My daughter bought me your DVD for my last birthday Joe... I was BLOWN away by your technique and feeling. All the guys in the band just cook and it was great to see your interaction together!

By the way, when you were playing with Deep Purple, my friend Bernie Shaw (Uriah Heep) was recalling how he used to hang with you backstage when both bands were on tour together. He said you were one of the nicest, most down to earth people he has ever met, and from reading the posts here from folks who have met you, I can beleive it!

Lastly, I was going to come and see you live in Vancouver in 2000, but got very ill and had to miss the show. When will you be coming back to the west coast of Canada Joe?? We need you!!

Yo Joe.... greetings from Vancouver Island... posted this question some time ago, but thought I would try again! Joe, I would really like to know if your harp setup (bullet mic, harp frame) was custom made for you. If not, I need something like that and would really appreciate knowing where you picked it up! By the way, where do I send something I have for you? It is great exercise for your wrist/hand and is great for recuperation after a strenuous night of gittar pickin! I brought it to the gig, but didn't get a chance to see you after the show.... My pal Bernie Shaw (Uriah Heep) has told me how you and him used to hang out backstage when they were touring with Deep Purple back in the 90's. Too bad there were no recordings from your stint with them... oh well! Caught your show in Vancouver this May - it was great!
