Joe, I just got through listening to the Mark and Brian show and it spurred me to write this post. I've been one of your biggest fans since 1988 after seeing you at the Santa Cruz Civic. Since then I have turned almost all of my friends and famiy into Satch fans as well. I've been to see you live 11 times and the Warfield on the 13th of May will be #12 ! Anyways, I've never been let down by anything you've done since becoming a fan. It's almost as though you have been reading my mind when it comes to ideas I've had about what I would love to see you do or who you,ve chose to tour and play with, etc..The timing of these decisions has been so in tune with those of us who are your biggest fans, ie..choosing Eric Johnson for your 1st G-3, Having Dream Theater open for you,etc...and now the biggest: Deciding to have Dave Larue play bass on this tour! WOW! I think Dave is possibley the best Bass player for accompanying the Instrumental solo artist such as yourself. He is the bass player that I have been saying for several years now that I think would be the bass player that would add the most desired elements in support of your music. I can't tell you how excited I am about seeing you with him on the 13th.

I also wanted to despute the rating that was bestowed upon you as being #8 on the all time list of best guitar players ever. You should be placed higher ( personally I have you tied for 1st with Jeff Beck, but that's just me). What you have done for all of the true lovers of music (the musician's musician) is huge! You have brought the best of what music is into the mainstream in a way that can't even be measured in terms of value or importance. Instrumental music is now an accepted form of music in the mainstream world. That was a major hurdle for which we saw no solution to until you.Thank you so much from all of us musicians for that.

One last thing I wanted to add was my "Ten Words" for your song Ten Words :

REFLECTING ON A PEACEFUL UNIVERSE TO BE ENJOYED BY ALL !

Just thought this might appeal to your inner spirit. Again, thank you for all of your gifts of music to us and the industry.Keep it up. You are making the world a better and more enjoyable place to be!

Hey everyone, FOUR DAYS!!! I,m going crazy with anticipation, and I've already seen Joe 11 times live! I've been hearing alot of great things about the show and Dave Larue being one of my favorite bass players makes the wait even that much harder. I'm practicing my crowd chat to make sure Joe's home crowd makes him proud!

Hi again, I wanted to ask if the links to member's music such as Suzie2000 etc... could be posted again because I would love to hear them but can't seem to find their links. Also, I have some originals I've been working on and as soon as I can get them past the scratch track stage I'll post them. Thanks to all of the REAL music fans out there for helping Joe take his and other's music that is so far above mainstream to a place that allows us all to go see these incredible musicians live!

Hey Satchland people, Finally getting to post after the Warfield show,(my 12th time seeing Joe live!). I don't know what the deal was with Eric Johnson's mix during his set, but the bass was way to high and it muddied up everything. They tried to fix it after everyone was yelling to turn down the bass, but they never really did.It was a shame because I know how good Eric Johnson can sound and we didn't get to hear that until the end of the show when he joined Joe and John A.. That mess aside, Joe's mix was perfect! I know that Joe has the right guys backing him up on this tour and it shows in the way Joe played and sounded. It was the best I've heard out of the 12 shows I've seen of his.He was in rare form, (which was total mastery and perfection of his craft!). For me, it was a spiritual experience!. Dave is my favorite bass player and I got to see him work his magic with Joe and his music. The band was as tight as I think it is possible to be on stage. I am no longer amazed at the stuff Joe does after so many shows of seeing him do it, (or maybe I should say that I'm just use to being blown away by his awe inspiring display of guitar perfection!),but this show was the best example of that I've ever seen! I have never heard Joe sound better! Also, I was glad that Eric sounded better playing with Joe at the end because he is too good of a guitar player to have his music muddied by the mix and to be remembered that way by anyone seeing him for the first time. I sure hope Joe's set was recorded because it was a special night and it would be wonderful if that magic was captured.

Thanks Webmaster for posting the pictures from the show as I was able to spot myself in one of the photos showing the crowd!

Anyone going to any of the remaining shows on this tour can look forward to seeing the band at their best! I can say this with total confidence because I have seen Joe 12 times and this was by far the best, an entirely different experience.Joe has moved from the level of "perfection" to a level above perfect, (more perfect??),(incredibler??),(perfectionest???),you get the idea.

Joe, thanks for making all the right choices in your music career to bring your fans the best music humanly possible. You keep improving on perfection in a way that defies all logic and belief of the realm of possibilities.Your hard working ethics and desire to always reach further are inspirational to all of us fans and we can't thank you enough.

I'm looking forward to show number 13 whenever and wherever that may be,hopefully soon!!!Best Wishes on the rest of the tour!

Hey Satchland,..I just got finished checking out some of the One Robot's Dream vids and I have to say there are some real talented people out there among the Satch fans. Some people really spent alot of time creating these. I think you all deserve to win...glad I'm not a judge of this contest. I really enjoyed viewing all of them. Keep it up, Satch deserves no less!

Joe- Great DVD!! I got it the first day it went on sale. I love the fact that my favorite Bass player is now a member of your band, the Warfield show in May was the best I've been to of the 13 shows I've seen. Incredible dynamics with the band! When are you coming back to the Bay to play? Thanks for "doing no wrong" in the twenty years I've been a fan and continuing to improve on perfection like you have during that time. I obviously have some stiff competition as your Number One Fan, but you are definitely my Number One Artist!
