Alright 962, you asked for it!
(I am now 'showing' my info so that will help)
I am from Marlboro, NJ. About 20 minutes from Sayreville, NJ and I have in my hand a ticket for the 4/18 show at the Starland Ballroom!
Long time fan. Saw him twice thus far: Once on the 'Joe Satriani' tour (w/o G3) and once on the first G3 tour.
Call me boring, but I love Summer Song. Probably because it was the song that initially got me into him and was also the song that me and my wife used as our introduction into our Wedding reception.
I have a Fender Jazz bass and know 6 Ramones songs. Thus I don't consider myself a playa! Not yet.
Now you all know a little bit about me. And this is my sign off ...
-Arty Ramone-
adios for now!

The Skip Dr. - CD Repair system.
What do we think of it? Is it worth the $40? Or is there some sneaky sly way for me to fix some skips on a few of my CD's?

Being a loyal Joe fan, I did what everyone here hopefully has done already ... purchased the new CD! OK, I did buy it the day after it's release, but I still bought it promptly! Joe is one of the few artist where I feel the need to buy the new stuff immediately. That means I like his stuff!

death cube - After I posted, I thought about it and ... it only makes sense it was you! I just started posting here. Had to chime in since Joe is one of my favorite artists of all time and since I am seeing him in NJ on 4/18. I hope I win the contest to meet him backstage.
I'll post a review of the new CD soon. I picked it up and only got to hear the first few songs. So far I love it. Stay tuned.
Rock on, PEOPLE!

It's a tough one for me tonight - do I see Joe and the Band or stay home to watch American Idol? Not sure ...
I think I'll see Joe, it's been about 10 years since I saw him and the Band last. And good for me - I already have my ticket!!
Anyone heading out to Sayreville, NJ tonight?
Hey Joe - Obviously this is a big sacrifice for me. I trust you will make it worth my while!

Joe and Band - As others have said here ... Super Fantastic show last night in Sayreville, NJ! Maybe it's because I haven't seen you since '96, but you seemed to be having a BLAST on stage! Just a rockin' great time! Thanks again!
Here are a few stray comments:
* Opened with Flying in a Blue Dream - I didn't expect that. Really cool.
* All the new songs sounded GREAT live! If you are going to see Joe, make sure you have the new album.
* I thought there was some improv jams at the end of Circles and Always With Me, Always With You. Really cool.
* When they did Crowd Chant, I saw that Jeff had one of them famous rubber chickens. I think he was thinking of doing something with it, and then decided not too. But I saw a RUBBER CHICKEN!!
* It's always fun when the drummer throws a drum stick up and doesn't catch it (and then can't do that one timely beat.) Jeff was guilty and they had a little chuckle about it. The band was sure having fun!
* I could go on, but I'll stop. Great Show!
