My 14 year old son and I will be at the opening show in Phoenix, he'd like to see you perform A Train Of Angels. :-)

"This will be my first carvin guitar. Just curious what other people thought about them."

I've got a CT3 and a DC400...I love 'em. I'd like to get a 7-string this year...let me know how you like it! Mark

Hey y'all, Has anyone ever had problems with the etix premium tickets? I got some for Pheonix since G32007 is not coming here this tour and this is the first time I bought them. I was supposed to get an email last week that the tickets were sent...two weeks before the show...didn't get it and now it's one week and we'll be traveling there so I'm starting to get worrried. "I had my first G3 experience at the Dodge Theater in Phoenix, and I really enjoyed it -- kudos to you for the selection of acts on this tour!"

Man W2! I thought the 1000 mile road trip we did for that opening show was hardcore...and you went from Alaska? LOL

Hey Joe! Come promo at the Dallas guitar show in April before you tour, that'd be so cool. Missed you last time you were there in 2004, but I was happy to catch the Dallas gig for Supercolossal and the last G3 opening meet and greet with my son...anyway, see you on the road somewhere...

Any news or rumor on an opening band for the US tour? Last time was Eric and it was great. But it was at Nokiadfw and is no curfew there so we were treated to a G3 jam with Andy Timmons which was super! This time it's at the new HOB in Dallas and I'm not looking forward to standing 4 or 5 hours or more if I want to do the m&g, get in early and then an opening band etc. Maybe I'll just fly to El Paso or if there will be a Houston show at Cynthia Woods Pavilion ;-)

Hey Gorsky, I recently saw RTF too. I thought they were going to play a lot more songs because Chick even mentioned that there is no curfew at Nokia here and he said they were still in rehearsal mode and wanted to play alot more songs so if y'all get tired or have to get up in the morning just leave when you feel like it and thanks for coming...but then they quit after 2+ hours and it wasn't even 11pm yet. I liked Senior Mouse the most.

I saw the opening G3 in Phoenix last year. It was spring break so took my son on a road trip to the grand canyon etc then club joe and second row isle seats...good time!

I know...I can get a ton of great used gear on ebay for 8k...

Are those LE's they are putting out like masterbuilt to Joe's specs or something? That latest poscast was kinda funny where Mike wanted to see if the surfer would surf and it sounded like Joe didn't think it was too funny...that's what was funny...

But even 3k, twice the price of a new JS1200 is a lot for just a paint job or carved sliver surfer or whatever that is on a regular JS1000 or 1200.

I miss Chicago...I grew up in Palatine. Maybe this is the year diehards die and go to heaven...

Never saw a concert at the Chicago Theatre, I just might fly up there for Joe. The hall in NYC looks cool too.

I've got 3 fenders...2 strats, 1 tele...

It's kinda funny Joe put Borg Sex for the sketches track right after Red Square.

BigBunny - I got mine for G3 last year about a week before the show. I started to worry because it was in Pheonix AZ and we planned to do a road trip out there for spring break and were going to hit the road 4 days before the concert. You will probably get them soon.

Went to Styx and Boston concert last night. Styx was amazing, a ton of energy and a lot of jaming. James Young is 59 and moved around like in his late 20s the last time I saw them when I was a teen. They sounded really great too, I was actually getting chills during Miss America which suprised me. I'd see them again.

Boston has a lot of hits for sure but they kinda plodded through them. Tom Scholz had a knee brace on and was pretty stiff lol. And the whole band mix was muddy for a tone geek but his keyboard stuff was great. He's 61 and definately didn't seem young at heart either. Maybe I'm just partial to Chicago bands. ;-)

Hey Ken...doing great! How about yourself? Yeah grew up there then moved here in 86 when I was 24 basically because I couldn't afford the rent! Even back then rent was pretty high and my salary very low cause I was working for IDOT after school. There was an oil and real estate bust down here when I moved so rent was cheap and I got a big raise working for a consultant rather than the goverment. But even then I was lucky I got the job because they were laying off engineers big time because of the bust...but I was trained on the latest new-fangled thing...computers...so I got the job. Then it's been boom times here ever since then. My parents and brothers and sisters are all cheese heads now just north of the state line. Hey I remember the last project I worked on at IDOT was I-355 right by your neighborhood, but it wasn't going to be a tollway then..I don't miss the winters I still remember the last one before I moved when da Bears won but I still get nostalgic about Chicagoland, I haven't been up there since the August before 9-11. It's been too long.

Well I hope Chickenfoot does really well, Joe deserves to play stadiums and I guess mainstream rock is the only way to get there...

But I hope he'll still tour with his band every other year and puts out more solo disks cause I'd really miss that. Instrumentals are my fav. I don't know about y'all but I enjoy Joe's work this decade more so than the previous. He keeps getting better! I'd love to hear Redshift Riders or The Meaning Of Love or Souls of Distortion or really anything from Engines of Creation to the present again. I wish more weight was put all these great songs from this decade!

Maybe it's a stealth presale of the prem presale michelle ;-)

You guys all mentioned greats songs I'd love to hear any of them again! And Stu you're right esp the ones that were not played on tour. How about Theme for a Strange World? That is a killer tune! Galen would just have to woodshed it for awhile to get the grove down is all ;-)
