Dear Joe, I was so very lucky to witness your Newcastle concert. I'm a guitar teacher myself & drove up from Suffolk with 2 of my pupils to watch you play. The've never seen you before & were profoundly effected by the experience. After spending so much time listening 2 your music on cd's it was a thrill for them both to see you in person! The venue was so small & intimate, one could imagine you were playing for us alone. As for me - I don't mind admitting that I cried when you came on and played 'Flying In A Blue Dream'. To see you there in person playing your beautiful music with such obvious joy & passion was a wonderful experience for me. Your music has given me so much solace over the years & in many ways forms the soundtrack of my life. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart - and can now do so with this great beast called the internet! I also have one question for you to answer if you feel so inclined. I recall seeing the orignal cover for 'Not Of This Earth' though many years ago. Is it true that a relative of yours painted it? Well Joe, thanks again for sharing the gift of your wonderful music with us, played so wonderfully with such sensitivity, and for having such a warm sunny personality. Warmest wishesLea Atherton (and two very excited pupils Ryan and jason). We love you!!!
