Jon - The only thing that would be nice is if the most recent posts read from the top down (like the old TTJ). Other than that here's a toast of "Champagne?" for ya!

Thanks Jon! You are doing an awesome job! Thanks also for the tricks. I am becoming quite the computer nerd, or at least learning enough to fake it, lol .......... xrob - I actually asked Joe last year about "Big Bad Moon" being his "Closer To The Heart" (Rush). He said that he loves playing it and that the crowd loves it so he will continue to play it probably. ...but I like it! ............... Austin - Without a 4 hour limit to post, "Austin-peats" don't count, haha! ..................... Cool editing option.

It's weird how I like the new look but don't post as often. .............. 6 days and counting! ................ I wonder if Lance Armstrong is already training with a copy of "SBM" on the discman? He's a Satchaholic (& a 3 time Tour de France champion!) for those who don't know.

Went to a game at Pac. Bell Park today that went 12 innings. I didn't get out of the parking lot until just after 5:00 p.m. - when apparently the ENTIRE CITY of San Francisco gets off work! Aaarrrggghhhh! It took 1 1/2 hours to get from the park, through the city, and to the north end of the Golden Gate bridge! Luckily, I had SBM in the car - cranked it up to drown out all of the idiots honking at each other (as if that helps the traffic situation, lol) blocking intersections. Great stress reliever. Thanks Joe! Amazing stuff! ............ Speaking of the game - Barry Bonds was on 1st. base and J. T. Snow was on 2nd. base when they both broke for home on a hit. Before Snow even rounded 3rd. base Barry was already on his heels, haha! White guys are so slow (and I'm one of them, lol)! ......... An edit will be committed; almost forgot - They both slid into home simultaneously! It was pretty cool to see even though the catcher tagged out Barry (He would have been safe if he hadn't had to slow down for J. T.). I'm sure this play was on Sports Center tonight but I didn't watch so actually, I'm not sure.

Plum Loco - Actually, you just bought a mortgage, lol. I ONLY have 296 more payments left on mine and then I will own a 60 year-old house (it was 30 when I moved in), haha! Seriously though, congratulations!!

Yeah, I think Stu's pretty good. What's up with that? Also, I would love for Joe to give me lessons. I think he taught a few people how to play. Where is he going with that gun/guitar in his hands?

Invigor - It's been fun to watch and read the same old questions and opinions. .................. Well, I'm shutting down the computer after this post and we are heading off to Las Vegas. We fly out tomorrow at 8:00 a.m.(who made those reservations, lol)! We are taking 2 days to drive home and all I've packed is SBM and the "Shrek" soundtrack, haha! Late next week I should have a pretty in depth review on the album. I'm referring to SBM, not "I'm a Believer", lol. ................ Btw, someone mentioned a few weeks ago how it sounds like the guitar is actually "singing" on "You Saved My Life" and I must agree. Very cool!! Thanks Joe! I'm going to go hit repeat on the player now. .............. Catch you all next week and can't wait to read those gig reviews of the tour! I hope Pakihakki doesn't get too excited when and if he actually meets Satch, lol! Shake his magic hands gently Pakki!

Hey all - Its been a long time since my last post. Very busy!! Hope everyone is well.

We've got a table at the base of the stage on Joe's side at Konocti on 2/2/03! Taking my son who thinks as much of Joe as Joe thinks of Jimi. This will be his first Satch gig and he is already crossing off the days, lol! Some friends & I had a table on Stuuuuuuuuu's side of the stage at G3 (@ Konocti) where we sat next to Austin (Stu, not boo) & his Pop.

It was great to see MegaBoyd and his brothers at 2 of the Northern CA Rush gigs back in September! We had 12th. row tix for one of them. Alex, Neil, & Geddy are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw Ronnie Montrose last w/e. He is still very good! The drummer for RATT was playing drums for Ronnie. He was pretty good, but I think he thinks he's still playing to crowds of 15,000. He stood up on his drum stool and held his arms high like he was waving to the back of the arena. Did I mention there were all of about 500 of us in a small theater, ha. Dave Menniketti played also. That's all I'll say about him, lol, and I was a Y&T fan way back when!

Joe - Please keep "Why" on the set list. It gets major airtime here at the house and in the car, and I haven't seen you play it for some time now.

Joe - Glad to hear you are taking some time for fun! We will be boarding at Northstar in 2 weeks. Can't wait! My 8 year-old son will be seeing you for the first time ever at Konocti on 2/2/03. We will be on your side of the stage in the second row of tables. He is so excited, he is counting the days. We were saying the other day that we would love to hear "Hill Groove" live. I'll be at the Sacramento, Fillmore (Fri. night), and of course at the Konocti gigs. See you then!

Well, I'm too exhausted to write my reviews for Friday's Fillmore gig and tonight's Konocti gig, so I'll wait on posting them. What I did want to say here is that MegaBoyd & his brother (MegaWyatt?) are 2 very cool & giving people!! We took our 8 year-old tonight to see Satch and afterwards Boyd & Wyatt took him to meet all of the guys! My son is in absolute heaven right now! Probably sleeping with a smile (and drumstick & pic's) at this very moment, ha. In my son's eyes (& ours), Boyd & Wyatt are as cool (if not more) as Joe, Jeff, Matt, & Galen! Thanks guys! See you at the next Satch gig.

SubyGod - Wow! You did well. I had my tix (6 of them) by 10:05 and had to settle for section 103, row O. Still not bad though. Maybe we'll see you there! It's MegaBoyd, myself, and 4 others. Yeah, I couldn't see getting a Chronicle subscription either.

Ovation/Mike - Thanks for the hello. I hope you're doing well also! You must be pretty used to the Japanese life now I imagine. Although not seeing Joe in a while is probably something that drives you nuts. If I recall, we are about the same age right (mid-30's)? Well, I'm checking out Iron Maiden & Dio at the end of this month. I never thought I'd see the amazing Steve Harris again so I'm pretty stoked for it. Funny Satch connection; On the last G3 tour my friend and I got to spend about 20 minutes hanging out with Stuuuuuu and Billy all by ourselves. We started bs'ing about how cool a B3 would be (at least for bass fanatics like me) and they asked who should be the 3rd B. We both said Steve Harris. So all 4 of us start singing "Run To The Hills", lol. What a great memory! Anyway, take care. I don't get much time to check in here anymore as life is busy, but fun. Later

Joe - Just had to let you know that we were in South Lake Tahoe this past w/e and while heading home yesterday we listened to Strange Beautiful Music while going up and over Echo Summit on Hwy 50. It was the perfect setting for the perfect driving music. Very cool! Thanks for the wonderful tunes Joe. Can't wait to see you guys soon.

Cheese101 - Wish we'd known you were there!

We also catch Joe anytime it's possible. This is the second time we've seen him just a few miles from our house! Can't get any better than that.

We figured the 4/11/05 LBC show (got a guitar signed by Joe and a stick from Jeff) would be our last Joe gig of the year. Very cool he agreed last minute for this benefit show.

The BR Cohn shows are great because even our youngest (6 year-old) gets to see the man that brings so much joy in our house.

Now only if Rush would play here (so our youngest could see them) we'd have it made, lol!

Psyche! Man, what a tease (& a waste of a large box). Pull up to the house and there's a good-sized package on the front step. Open it up knowing the G3 dvd is the only thing recently ordered only to find just the complimentary (which I do appreciate btw) poster, lol! AAaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Looks like Monday. It is a cool 11" x 17" poster with John, Steve, & Joe and an announcement for the theatrical screenings on 10/25, but it's still not the good stuff. Can't wait as this is my favorite G3 line-up to date (saw them in northern CA a few times).
