Howdy ho Joe!
Just wanted to say thank you! Your music has inspired me to get off my keester and start learning to play guitar! I'm 35 so I hope it's not too late! I used to think I'd never be able to play because my fingers are fat and my left index finger is shortened (thanx to my stupid brother), but I'm not gonna let that stop me anymore! I love music with all my heart and soul and now I'm gonna make some!! On an aside, when you coming back to the States to tour for your new album? Hopefully, Atlanta will be one of your stops!! Knock em dead on your current world tour!!
P.S. Got any suggestions on any exercises that will help to thin my fingers out?

Superstrings,
I took a look at those guys and have come to the conclusion that I'm an idiot! My fingers aren't anywhere as bad as those two. Question though, how did Segovia make an A chord? I'm just using my 1 and 2 fingers not the 3. Is that what he did or was he able to fit those pudgy digits in the single fret space? As far as playing professionally, unless it's determined that I have some supernatural gift, I'm just doing it for personal enjoyment! But maybe..... :) Keep it real dude....

Do The Stu, KOOL BEANS man! When you think they'll put the schedule up on the site? About the G3, Joe was "talking" to Vai and Malmsteen in one of his podcasts trying to set up the next G3. This just his antics or is that gonna be the line up?, if ya know? Speaking of Malmsteen, anyone know if he is still into the occult? Hope not!!!!!!!!

I have never seen any of them in concert so anyone would be fine with me! Just as long as Joe is there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As a matter of fact, try not to laugh to hard, I have only been to one concert in my life and I'm not saying what that was! Yes, is pathetic, I know..... I'm just now where I can afford to do such things.
Anyone know if the airlines let you "carry-on" a guitar for domestic flights? I have to go to Arkansas for some training this coming week and I don't want my fingers to soften up, again because of lack of playing. Maybe there is a place out there that I can rent one for a week... hmmmmmmmm

I am 35, the concert was about 14 years ago. I doubt very seriously you will be able to guess! :) Thanks for the info on flights! I checked the airline website today and looks like I could take my axe on board one of two ways. Possible check it when I get on board and they may have a closet it could go in or I could buy a seat for it.... uh, no. Anyway, hopefully the music store out there will have something to rent or maybe I'll just go in and pick a little. Holla at cha later dude!

Come on dude, I'm not that pathetic!!!! However, New Kids on the Block are coming to Atlanta area in October. Want me to get you some tickets? ;) I'll give you a hint, it wasn't just one band and no it wasn't anything cool like Ozzfest, though I'd love to go to that one! Too bad it is just a one location event this year. Keep guessing....

Hey, I keep reading about this album Joe released in 1984 titled Joe Satriani..... but I don't see it in the discography on this site. Anyone know if it exists and how/where can I get a copy?????

Hey, thanks for the info and yes I would love to hear the missing track!!!!! I thought about the waiting after the show thing to get to meet him however, the area the show is in is not the best place to be late at night in Atlanta. Maybe I can get my brother the cop to come and stand with me and be my bodyguard? :) If I do get to meet him, I'm gonna ask about the album to see if there would be anyway to get a copy from him.
