Can someone listen to anyone of my recordings of some Satch songs? I'm stuck at my computer recording and playing at least 4 hrs a day w?NO-ONE to listen to what I'm doing, and I'm going outta MY MIND!!!!! Please respond if interested. Thx, LEENZ3

Hey js1200js1000 it's been 5 mos for me 2, but I'm off all opiates after 13 yrs of chronic pain. I FEEL F'N AWESOME!!!! So I know what U mean. Playing the guitar for 4-6 hrs a day is by far the best therapy for any kinda detox. Keep it up dude

I'm new here and just wanted to say hHI to everyone.I would've been here a lot longer ago, but I just wasn't physically able to sit long enuf. I am 39 yrs old, and I have been playing guitar for 24 yrs now. I was going to school for music(guitar) when I injured my back in a 12 ft fall. I had to have 2 back surgeries, and 4 other surgeries to fix my back. B/c of all the pain and depression, I gained over 200 lbs. For 13 yrs. I was only able to play my guitar for a 1/2 hr at a time 2-3 times a week. If it wasn't for hoping I would be able to play ALOT again,I probably wouldn't be here today. Even though I wasn't able to play much. All I had to do was put anyone of his albums and I would imagine I was still able to play the shit I used to be able to play. So in my mind I was still playing. So last June,@ 420 lbs. I had Gastric bypass, and have lost 216 lbs in a the last year. The other amazing thing that came of this is that I am now 5 mos. clean of all Opiates. I was on Oxycontin for my back pain for 13 yrs, and I'm back to doing what I always wanted to do, and that's playing my guitar@least 4 hrs a day!!!! 'BOUT F'N TIME!!!!!!! LOL I have no-one to listen to my recordings, my wife gets extremely jealous now of my guitar, and avoids any conversation about it......LMAO She lost me for 13 yrs and now she finally has me back, and looks at it as if it's another woman....lol She supports me and gives me the time I need to play, but that's about it. Playing Joes music helps SOOO much detox. It's by FAR the best therapy out there. I finally feel like myself now. Which is HUGE!!

Are there any advanced guitarist posting 2nite? I'm new here and I am a playing MO-FO!!! Would love to talk and share some of my recordings of Satch tunes. I just recorded a killer version of Satch Boogie and I would love to share w/anyone interested. And by all means send me some of your playing. I'd love to hear what some of you guys are doing.
