Hi Joe!
Im from a beutifull country known as New Zealand. I saw you perform at a guitar festival held in New Plymouth last year and man you rocked!!!!! ( OVERDRIVER WAS SO COOL!!! ) I started playing guitar at the age of 6 and got serious about the Instrument at the age of 9. An Uncle of mine introduced me to the Surfing with the Alien album and after hearing that i was hooked and there was no going back or giving up i wanted to know everything about the guitar and understand the language it spoke. For 23 years now ive been trying to understand how you could bring so much joy and emotion to your playing, im mean just a slide or a bend can have such an impact on someone and listening to A love Eternal did wounders for me emotionally. Im guessing my Question from me to you is......How do you do it? I understand that the Great Jimi Hendrix had such a big influence on you and yourve tried so hard not to copy him but it just keeps coming out, i wish i could play just like you not to the extent of being a copy cat or anything but just to go and find out where you go when your playing the guitar what drives you to create such beutifull music because i really love your stlye and artistry. GRETA you want Joe's Autograph? Good try but i dont think that Joe would Contact people Direct E-Mail be awesome if he did Because i would like that too!!! Ive got an JSX Peavey Amp that Joe Signed when he was in Auckland New Zealand a few years Back and that is something that you would only recieve in a once in a life time opportunity. You want his signature???? I want him to take me under his wing and teach me everything he knows about the guitar!!! ( Not that it would ever happen be a Real BLESSING if it did ) If i gave Joe my E-Mail Address and to get a reply from him would be lke YEAH!!!!!!!!! JOE MAILED ME!!!!!

Hey Joe.
When is The Next time you Coming to New Zealand??
Wish you could come to our Country More. I remember one time Yngwie Malmsteen Came to play at the Power Station In Auckland a Few years back now, Poor Guy.... As soon as he was on stage and started flying all over the fret board like a mad V8 engine some Lunatic threw a beer bottle at his head not once but TWICE!! He got so angry and started swearing and said if it happened again he was F?#Kin of out of here. I dont know why that stupid person did that for but it ended up being a good show. ( Im not saying that would ever happen to you because it wont, Maby it was just Yngwie's Hair that made that gut do that ) Then not long after Maby a few months later Steve Vai Came and man he ROCKED!!!!!!! For Steve to play like that....Imagin what else you have to Offer You are a true Genius Joe and thats something i wish i had. Keep On rocking!!!!

GOLDEN GIRL2..
Id so be up for that to spend the day with Satch i think anyone that loves his Music would. Id take a Video camera with me and document the day with him so that i could reflect on it for years to come and hand it down to my kids and tell them this guy is the Greatest Guitar player in the world if you decide to learn the guitar listen to Joe Satriani and study what he does and what inspires him to keep the Ball rolling.
His son Z.Z must be so happy to have a dad like him??
