Probably gonna get slammed - but.... Saw the show in Denver. Not sure if it was acoustics or the sound engineers, but could not here Steve Morse over the drums. Joe, your set was a bit better, but - sorry - way too loud. At one point it sounded like you were playing a half tone higher than the other guys. Wonder if that is when my eardrums gave up? Guess my earplugs stink, because they cut out the highs instead of pulled back decibles so I had to take them off.

I went to the sound booth to see if it was better there and noticed all the engineers wearing headphones???? and just as muddled.

I see the other 2 here not complaining, so am I really getting too old for the concert scene? or was the sound optimized for the board and monitors instead of the audience?

The sound was perfect 5? years ago when you played at the Ogden (?) theater.
