hey satch,
My girlfriend did a report on you due to my suggestion and she came across information that you are in a charity group that gives out instruments to students. I know I am not in a younger grade (college) but, would I be able to get one? Right now I have a guitar that my mother and father got me. I don’t really even know what it is though, it has a fender neck but I know it’s not a fender because the body of it does not match. The bridge is a Floyd Rose which I would normally be happy with but whoever had this before I got it didn’t take care of it. The bridge is all bent crazy-like and the “saddles” (I think that’s what they are called) stripped out and I can’t afford to fix them even. So right now it has some messed up ghetto-rigged stuff holding the strings in. I play as seriously as I can, I can’t afford lessons(Oh and the only reason I can afford college is the government is covering it.). I am attempting to learn some of the more complex aspects of guitar like the theory behind composition. I have been a fan of yours since I heard surfing with the alien like two years ago, thanks to a tech guy at my high school. He definitely turned me on to more renowned guitarists. hey satch,
I know I posted this earlier but I am still wondering about it. My girlfriend just did a school report on you because I reccomended you. In this report she did was alot of information. One fact that caught my attention was that you give intrumesnts to students that need them. I was wondering if I would be able to get a guitar because I will be attending college soon for music. Right now I have about 3 crap guitars that wont produce good sound at all. They are all project guitars. The most interestiong one has a fender neck with frets that are really worn down so that if I try to string bend the sound cuts out. The body is well.. I don't really know I think it might be a charvel, but that is just high hopes I think. It has a floyd Rose bridge which is cool but its all bent up and the "sattles" I think they are called stripped out. So its "ghetto-rigged". I hope to see a response, Thank you.
