Hey, CAN ANYONE HELP ME? I am really interested in knowing Satch's EARLY LIVE SET-UP for the Surfing With The Alien tour (~1987). I know he used a Marshall 1969 Plexi SuperBass before stolen around this time (before the Marshall 6100LM Anniversary amp).
SO THE QUESTION IS: What are the specifics on the DS-1 he used with the SuperBass? Modded or just "Made in Japan"? Robert Keeley wasn't in business just yet so I know it wasn't a Keeley Mod. Also, the rest of his rig (which couldn't be too complicated)?
