Hello Joe Satriani! I am an 18 year old guitar player who has just recently been accepted into Berklee College of Music. I am a huge fan of your music. I have 10 questions for you. I understand if you dont see this message or are to busy to answer but i figured it was worth a try! Or if you feel you don't want to answer some! It would be an honor to receive advice from the musician i look up to the most. Thanks. Daniel

1.How do you let go of all judgments of your creations? Just let them be? 2.Do you follow any spiritual practices? 3.How do your melodies express so much feeling and emotion? 4.How do you take criticism? 5.How do you balance your music life and family life? 6.Is it difficult to work with certain musicians at times? For example, one who is constantly criticizing other artists works. Or even you're own. If so how do you get past this? 7.Which is more important: music education or a creative and free mind? Or maybe they are equally important? 8.When you write are you thinking about something in particular or do the ideas come and you follow them and eventually realize what they are about? 9.Do you ever dread practicing guitar? If not how do you approach it? 10.How do you keep creativity flowing and not allow other to stop or hurt it?
