I suppose that you are still using Keleey DS1 for recordings. Or at least your Satchurator is very similar designed to that distortion pedal. You can (ask someone to) do a simple mod for improving volume control. JSX is high gain amp, so you are probably using DS1 just as a booster. Therefore it is a bit tricky to get sweet spot. You can replace Volume pot 100KB (linear) with 82K Metal Film resistor in series with 22KA (Logarithmic). Or 68K metal film with 33K log pot (unusual value for pot though) In this way you can get fine tuning in desired area, and all that without changing tonal characteristic. I did the same and it is perfect booster for SLO and X88r. Regards Laza
