Hello everybody. I'm not exactly new but back with a new account. It's been quite a long time since my last connection. Whatever I just want to say a few things.
1) Joe if you read this your album is amazing. The more I'm listening to it the more I'm loving it ! You're the coolest man in the world.
2) Then I'll have the luck to see Joe in live for the first time in June 3rd in Paris ! My father bought the tickets for me ( what a nice present ! ) and a few days later Joe announced Unstoppable momentum... I was so happy.
3) Now just for the fun: I went to the circus a few weeks ago ( Cirque d'hiver - Paris) and I saw a crazy Mexican knife-thrower throwing knives with Surfing with the Alien played by a small orchestra... So unexpected but very cool at the same time.

Still having doubt on which song I prefer between jumpin in and out...
Both are so cool, deep and beautiful at the same time... There' s an absolutly beautiful and pure moment around 2:30 in Jumpin' out that's maybe what will make the difference.

I'm listening Joe's music a lot thanks to the new album, discovering and rediscovering things at every moment. I relly like this feeling. Unstoppable momentum's deepness makes me think and sends vibrations making echo with what i feel deep in my heart. I also listened to Black swans and worhole wiz' a lot and I rediscovered it: actually this album is now one of my favorite.
Live in Montreal is an absolute masterpiece and my new listens improved in a very positive way the sensations i had first. The end of the show (and especially Why and Wind in the trees) just blows me away.

Turbo236- thanks for the setlist that's cool.
It seems to be good,a lot of new songs from Unstoppable momentum and older classics... Devil's slide and Weight of the world are not myfavorite songs but all the rest pleases me. Maybe I would had add one or two songs coming from Satchafunkilus or from Wormhole wiz' (I'm thinking of Andalusia...) but it's just my personal taste...
Cryin' is one of my favorite songs, I'm so happy to see it on the setlist, and I can't wait to hear the new songs live !
Anyone knows if it is a setlist for the whole tour or if there will be some changes ? Asik Vaysel was THE song to play in Turquey.

June 3rd is looming, can't wait for the concert. I hope Joe will bring some summer and some sun with him because the weather here in Paris is horrible.

Skippygirl- I definitely have to use google translate. Sometimes the translation are weird but most of the time it is possible to understand most of the meaning. In that case everything.
I'm trying to win the um instagram contest for the show in Paris. Good luck to everybody challenging this contest. D-3 before the show !

Skippygirl- I've so many photos but the majority of them are on a bad quality, I'll pick the best ones and find a mean to post them as soon as possible.
The support show, Oli brown and band was nice, Joe's concert was sublime. New songs sounds so good, Unstoppable momentum of course, I'll put a storm of your cairn was a little bit extended, A doo into summer is a perfect song and was played perfectly, lies and truths' version was close to those of the cd, but the most remarkable were Shine on with a terrific version, Jumpin' in ( the bass section !) and jumping out with a wonderful distorded bass solo added into the break.
For the classic, they sound as if they were new songs, that's true. Cool#9 is introduced by a short drum solo, devil's slide which is not my favorite song was wonderful, Ice 9 and surfing were supersonic, Cryin is one of my favorite and made me cry for the first time since three years, the sound was so clear and so pure-
Crush of love and Always' were super-extended and according to me the best songs of the show.
The encore were amazing, Joe asked everybody to stand up and during crowd chant people were singing and dancing, going closer and closer to the stage. A 40 years guy next to me was crying. At the end of the show I was just in front of the stage, and Joe saw my drawing and smiled.
What a wonderful night thank you Joe, a big thanks to all the great musicians who are with you, it was so hard to get up this morning to go to that english exam....

The sun is back in Paris. What a beatiful day -blue sky and 24°C this afternoon. Great to see that summer still exists :) I walked back home insted of taking the metro and I listened to the whole Um. Now images of the show appear in my head and get mixed to the feeling the songs already made me feel, and they sound even better.
I posted some of the photos I took during the show on Instagram but only a small part of them. All of the are on #um_paris if you want to see them.
To all the people who got a ticket for a show: enjoy yourself, you'll see that tour is amazing, the songs, musicians, Joe of course... Everything !

Michelle- ha ha I can't stop laughing :) you may have added that they must cut down their hair to be bald ;)
Phydeaux_3 Completly agree with you, but the set list is still damn cool though. It's a 23 song set list but I don't see many things to change in it. :) New songs sound so good and older ones soind so young. After the show you'll certainly forget about your miss of that song :) oh but if I remember well he played it in Istanbul instead I'll put a stone on your cairn.

Hey everybody. I wanted to buy a guitar with my own money but mother just told me she wants to pay for me as a present after my exams. Quite an unexpectable good surprise from her... I know there are plenty of great instruments , that a lot of people play guitar and that it is not an original choice but it is a long time dream that will be realised.
There are a lot of guitarist here so does anybody have an advice to give me on what would be a good and not very expensive guitar ? :)

Finally found and bought "Time machine" today, my collection is almost comomplete :) Damn this cd is very hard to find here in France, I was so happy. I only listened to it two or three times maybe, what are your favorite songs ?
Oh and I bought a guitar last saturday, my dream became true. I'm making a lot of noise with it, but I hope I'll play some notes very soon ha ha. I think I will be able to play Solitude or Tears in the rain in about 20 years...
