Fretslayer, thanks for the info. I purchased his Trilogy album
the other day. Its ok but not something I'll listen to much if at all.
I can relate to your vocals comment, I'm more into instrumental
stuff myself. Just want to be familiar with his music before I
see the G3 show in Minneapolis. Later

PaulEMoz, Thanks for the suggestion. I'm going to go search
the record stores for both albums recommended. Sounds like
I might even like them. Can hardly wait to see G3, first time I'll
see Steve Vai play.

The show in Minneapolis was incredible to say the least. All
three bands were great! Accept them for who they are and
enjoy their music. Thanks Joe for meeting us after the show,
you are a great person.

My 2 cents worth
1. Joe Satriani
2. John Mcglaughlin
3. Jeff Beck
4. Al Di Meola
5. Steve Vai
Does anyone else remember how cool Joe played starry night on the G3 tour. He really took off towards the end of
the song.

Joe, Have a good holiday with your family. Since I have all
your stuff I had to put Steves anthology and live at the London Astoria on my Christmas list. Looking forward to your
next tour....BC

tetovo - D O M The G3 in Toronto was recorded by a guy who got a video camera into the concert. It had good footage but poor sound quality. Was cool to watch though , I had to buy one off ebay I have to admit. Didn't get to see that tour.

Hey all ,
I spent 600 bucks on a plane ticket the first time I saw Joe in Vancouver BC , I would have gladly shelled out a couple hundred more for good seats and to meet Joe.

Clarky: I did not mean to offend anyone , just wish I could see Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer play together. I could hope that they would put out a DVD but Jennifer Batten told me Jeff is to shy to be filmed. Guess I'll just have to watch my bootleg of him in Japan. He wasn't to shy that day?
