Was at G3 last night in Toronto... as compared to other G3s, I have to say that the sound was surprisingly good, very clear & crisp. Mixing could have been a tad better but still great overall. I liked Yngwie's set -- his stuff gets repetitive after a bit, but he was still great to listen to and didn't seem trashed this time, unlike the last time I saw him play! Steve & Joe were phenomenal as always.

I didn't have a backstage pass and was part of the crowd that waited 1-1.5 hrs in the cold to meet them and get stuff signed... Yngwie ran to the bus, but did sign stuff -- you had to give it to a security guy, who sent it into the bus, then you'd get it back. Was debating whether to get an Yngwie signature on my Jem BSB, since it is a Vai guitar after all... I sent it into the bus, it comes back with his signature, and underneath he wrote "Play Fender!"...! He did that to another guy's Jem 10th anniversary. I didn't mind too much, it is sort of funny. Vai signed "Play Anything" in response to that, on the other guys Jem 10th (he just signed his name on mine).

Steve and Joe signed the guitar as well. Steve seemed to be mobbed by more people than Joe for whatever reason, which was great because it gave me the opportunity to shake Joe's hand....!! After listening to their music for so long, and attending so many of their shows, it's really an indescribable feeling to have them standing right there in front of you.

Joe -- thanks again for all the music and for the G3 tours!!!!!!!!
