I have finally got out of bed now (at a mere 15:19!!!) after a good night's sleep following a f**king long drive from Germany to the UK.

It was a good trip and we played like demons. Got pissed first night (Clarky style) after one of the singers thought it would be a good idea to play drinking games but I was quite sensible the second night.

The gigs - 1st night was excellent. A nice big stage, great sound and the guitar was roaring. One fuck up was during the last song. The other guitarist said "...and on Guitar - Aarren Mowle...". I went to go for it and hit the first note and snapped a string and it would happen to be on a floyd equipped guitar so I was not amused but hey ho...

2nd night was a "Back To School" night with lots of girlies in school uniform running around the place.......pissed!!! Clarky you would have been in your element!!! Again, great sound and the guitar was sounding great. Tiny stage though but the atmosphere made up for it. One of the singers (the one who started the drinking games) got pissed on stage and started making up words to the songs which, in turn, made us unable to sing backing vox as we were laughing too much. After4 the gig the other guitarist got plastered and started calling to long lost brother "Huey" - wasnt pleasant but piss funny.

If I have missed anything or anyone has asked me for something ask again as I havent read the last 12 (!!!) pages.

JS JS - I have a wireless in my system and, above all, it was the safety aspect that atracted me as if a drink goes over on your amp/power supply you run the risk of holding an instrument with a strong electrical current going through it. If you buy a wireless though it eliminates this as, recalling my science lessons at school, electricity doesnt run over radio waves....

ATN - To say that germany was a story in itself would be a major understatement!!! lol...

Clarky - You would have sooo been in your element....lol

SupaaDave - I can honestly say that I dont have that problem with my system as it seems that there is no delay. I have been using a wireless for about 5years and I could not live without it. I tried to play with a lead and it felt like I was shackled to the floor!!! lol...

PhryDom - Are you saying that I had a worm in my pc as nothing has ever shown up when I have run scans???

Clarky - I'm not too sure what time we will be sound checking as I normally dont find out until a day or so before the show. Once I know I will holler and let you know. It would be great to meet up with you even if it was only for an hr or so.

Do the Stu - Oh right. I understand now. The thing I dont understand is how the worm got into my computer as I have firewall and anti-virus software. I also scan for viruses etc every week and nothing has ever been detected.

Clarky - Once I find out what time I will be in Reading I will let you know and I will email you my mobile number. It would be great to meet up.

PhryDom - Sorry for getting sooo hyped up bro. It is just that I hate people who create viruses etc and, to start with, I wouldnt even know how to create one. Sorry bro... Also see the answer I gave to Do the Stu.

Mr Nick - Possibly... Let me see how things pan out, work-wise...

Did you know that there are "Lies, Damn Lies and then Statistics....?"

Clarky - I would have to go for putting green. So that makes it
6 yr old muffin - 0
! - 0
Putting green - 1
Nicely trimmed (ala Michelle) - 1
Womanly, as the great one intended - 3

Sorry guys (and girls) but It has got to be a putting green above and smooth underneath as I dont want a mouthful of tobacco (nice analogy Clarky...lmao) or do I want stubble rash (I did try and keep it as uncrude as possible).

Aarren

PS - Is "Uncrude" actually a word???????........Hmmm.....

Hi all,

I havent been around for the last few days as I have been really busy with the band.

Clarky - It was great to finally meet you in reading on friday and I was totally blown away with your stuff. Increadible is a MAJOR understatement!!! Also, it was great to meet you BEFORE you become a member of the infamous favoured nations label and too busy to deal with the likes of us normal people!!!

Mikey - Nice to see you back!!!

Matt King - Great to see that you are still alive!!! How is the band going? Your opinion of the JSX is the same as mine. I went to see JOE on the European G3 tour twice and both times it seemed like the bass end was just "flappy" and unclear.

DCK - I still havent received the CD yet.

So then, what is with this Vote thing at the top of the T2J page?

Clarky - Your music, to me, is stunning. Everything about it was flawless - playing, technique, composition, sound quality and above, all, the feel. You can soooo "Hear" the paintings in the tracks that you played to me. AWSOME BRO!!!

The gig went really well except for that amp. The tone was just too edgy, too rock, if you know what I mean. I get my rack back tomorrow tho so at least my sound will be back to normal this w/end - good job too as I have 3 (fri, sat, sun).

Thanks for being a true inspiration. Right, off to write some stuff as I am well inspired now.

Hi all,

I have recorded a version of Crystal Planet that I would like you all to check out. It was done using a mate's amp and boss gt-6 just to see what it could do. Its a very rough mix with most of the parts done in one take but overdubbed.

Crystal Planet.

Oh and ten points goes to the person who can hear another satch tune in it!!!
