Hi all,

I've gone and nearly done a Clarky but instead of breaking my finger I nearly cut the tip of it off!!!

For those with a nervous dispersition do not read on...

I was making some enchiladas at home and had cut all the vegetables up and they were frying nicely away in the wok. I was then cutting some turkey breast up and had put a plastic chopping board on top of my normal one which was slipping around a little bit (can you see where this is going???). I was saying in my head at the time "I must put a towel under this board to stop it slipping around but (and here comes those famous last words...) I'll just cut this bit first!!!". And there it was. The board slipped from under my fingers just as I was bringing my very sharp japanese knife down and.... SLICE!!!... straight through my little finger!!! The cut went through my nail and down the inside of my finger but, luckily, not thru any nerves or muscle tissue - just down about 3mms. The bitch about it is is that it is my fretting-hand little finger - bugger!!!!!

Safe to say that I think I will be a bit more careful in the future...DUH!!!

I do check in pretty much everyday but I dont always post. If I havent posted then shout as I will probably be around.

DCK - Been working with my band creating a new show. Not saying what yet as it hasnt been confirmed as yet. Once rehearsals have been done then its off for some nice bookings, hopefully a German tour. I am doing a one off reunion show with an old band of mine as a favour for a friend as its their birthday and she loved the band when we were together. It been over 10 years since I played the material so its time to dig out the old tapes and try and remember what I played. Cant get to LGS this year which is disapointing as would have liked to meet up with fellow T2J'ers.

Chris Peters - Things are cool bro. No real news to tell. Music-wise I am very busy - reunion gig with an old band, working on a new show with current band and running a weekly Jam Night every Thursday. How 'bout you?

Clogger - I remember doing a show when I was younger and it was a school festival. We were playing Bulls On Parade by RATM and I dropped my pick. I didnt have any spare so I carried on playing with my fingers but as if I was holding the pick. Anyway, I caught my first finger on something and ripped off part of my nail. Trouble was tho is that as I was so focused and in the groove I didnt notice. I ended up with blood all over my cherry red lespaul and my face. The crowd tho thought it was part of the show which was cool!!!

Clogger - It didnt hurt at the time as I was so focused and in the groove but after it hurt like a... well you know...

Clarky - Beers must be done at some point - maybe incorporated into a jam???
