Clarky: Is there any chance you could do a Theory Posse post on the Minor scale (chords associated with each degree of the scale etc) and possibly the Harmonic Minor scale?

Just received this in an email and I thought I would share it with you all

THE BEST BLONDE JOKE OF THE YEAR - SO FAR

A man was in his front yard mowing grass when his attractive blond female neighbor came out of the house and went straight to the mailbox.

She opened it then slammed it shut &stormed back in the house. A little later she came out of her house again went to the mail box and again, opened it, slammed it shut again. Angrily, back into the house she went.

As the man was getting ready to edge the lawn, here she came out again, marched to the mail box, opened it and then slammed it closed harder than ever. Puzzled by her actions the man asked her, "Is something wrong?"

To which she replied, "There certainly is!" (Are you ready? ... this is a beauty ...)

My stupid computer keeps saying, "You've Got Mail!"

Olly: I had a listen to ur iuma songs and i did like what i heard. However, when you play the satch stuff try setting ur delay up so it repeats, in time, quarter notes (crotchets). Also make sure that you have three repeats - original note , then three repeats to create four notes in total.

Guitarcake: What you need to do is get a piece of software that converts .wav files to .mp3 files. I dont know about free ones but I do know that Musicmatch Jukebox does it.

Hope that helps

Mr Nick - Thanks for your comments and I know what you mean about my vocals. I'm not really a singer but the tracks needed vocals so I thought "What the hell" and just recorded them. There will be some Joe tracks on there as soon as I can be bothered to record them!!!

lambic - Thanks for the kind words regarding my covers over at My IUMA.

I dont really know what to say except Justin (Jstrat57) was a dear friend to all of us no matter how long we knew him for. For me it was about 6 months. I am contributing to the T2J CD and before Justin tragically passed he provided me with the drum samples for my track so my track is dedicated in his memory hense the the title "ABOVE & BEYOND".

By the way there are some new pics over at My IUMA. Check it out.

Ovation1 - Ive been onto my site from several pcs and i dont experience any probs. What I would say though is make sure you click the "Real" selection on the site unless you have a broadband connection. Also, do you have any software that lets you play mp3/real audio files such as real player etc???

Aarren

Go to My IUMA and leave me some comments as to what you think.

To eveyone who has replied so far - The marshall EL84 20/20 power amp, so I have been told, is actually louder than my marshall Valvestate 8008 tranny power amp as it is a fully valve driven power amp and you also get more harmonic overtones cos of the valves. A friend of mine has a marshall 9100 power amp and he said that he has never had his above "6" even at a fully blown rock gig with 20000 watts of PA. So the way I see it is that the 20/20 will "drive" better cos of the lower wattage. Also, apparently it can drive 4 cabs (assuming that you get the OHMS right) so, surely, its a good idea.

What do you reckon???

Aarren

GO AND VISIT MY IUMA AND LEAVE ME SOME COMMENTS..........PLEASE.

Did anyone notice my number of posts???.......... yippee!!!!
