Plum Loco - I hope you like it

Mr. Nick - I kinda did the backing track myself but used a lot of copy and paste if you know what I mean. Thanks for the kind words.

Stu Clone - I know what u mean regarding the bends and the harmonics, but as I said, it was done in one take and the dominant 7th harmonic was completely by accident as I was holding the B down and out it came. As soon as I heard it I moved position and got one I liked. Thanks for the kind words anyway.

Orangade - Glad you liked it

Plum Loco - Thanks dude for the kind words. I've been playing now since I was 9 so that would make (think, think, think)............14 1/2 yrs now as I am 24 ( I started playing after getting a guitar for xmas).

Michelle - Thanks a lot. Glad you liked it.

Hamdo - Thanks for the kind words. I would do a rendition of Starry Night except for the lack of a backing track and I cant be arsed doing one for it!!! lol.

Go to My IUMA and let me know what you think............please???

My quote of the day (inspired by the Homer one) "Hmm.........free goo"

Clarky - How is the building a band thing going? Need a rhythm guitarist?? (hint, hint!!! lol) Maybe you could do what Sir Paul Mcartney (sp?) did where he had 3 big screens behind him each with him playing a different instrument of the same song on each so he was all of his backing band (hang on a minute, Paul Clark x4??? Scary thought)

Mr Nick - Ive got some sampled drum sounds that I did my t2j track with. Go and have a listen to my track clip over at www.talk2joe.com and if you like them and u r on msn we can sort it out.

Come on Joe - let your devoted fans see some blue!!!

T2J CD - Can anyone let us know what the latest is regarding the t2j cd as, and i'm sure i'm not the only one, I am getting ancious/curious as to why it is taking so long??? I'm not having a moan I'm just curious........

Mr. Nick - My Always backing is now an mp3 file as I recorded real instruments not synthesised (ie midi ones) so it cant be converted to midi. Cakewalk help - I need to know exactly what you are using to get your sound into your computer and what you are using to listen back to it. Once I know what you are using I may be able to help as I use Cakewalk Sonar v.1 to do all of my recording (including my t2j track).

Clarky - Thanks for the info regarding the PLEK. I spoke to a guy at Chandler Guitars (Guilford I think) and he said that the PLEK thing isnt as good as its made out to be because the frets arent rounded by the machine - they are just flattened so he advised me not to have it done. Strange eh???

Trutina - Just a quick explanation of why I havent paid yet - I dont want to sound like an arse-hole but until I receive a contract regarding the use of my song and confirmation of production I won't be sending payment. It's not that I don't trust anyone its just that I am trying to protect my own interests and, to be honest, I don't know you from Adam. Like I said, i'm not trying to be an arsehole so PLEASE don't be offended. Also, I have moved house so if you email me at my new email address I can send you my new details. Heres my new email address - aarren.mowle@dsl.pipex.com.

Trutina & all other T2J CD Contributers - I understand what everyone said regarding my comments and I am glad that Bil understood it in the way that was intended (love the Monty Python bit, by the way lol) but I havent received any correspondance regarding the CD other than what is talked about in here and on the T2J website. I am honered to be able to contribute to such a CD alongside all of you guys. I have no problems with making my contributers payment once everything is in place and I have signed a document to declare that my track still remains my posession and that I have some sort of (written) guarantee, signed by those producing the disk, that it is going ahead. Personally, I think that everyone should have done this as im sure we have all heard of internet scams and maybe ended up losing money in the long run.

The reason for me doing this is that I have had a song stolen from me by a well-known band (which WILL remain nameless) and it happened to do VERY well in the british charts.

PLEASE DON'T BE OFFENDED AS I REALLY DON'T WANT TO OFFEND ANYONE - BELIEVE ME.

If anyone wants to discuss this further please dont hesitate to email me at aarren.mowle@dsl.pipex.com

Aarren

Stu Clone - I have taken all of the neccesary steps to protect my song, its the permission to use it and proof of the cd production that I would like. If this is too difficult then I will proceed anyway and make payment. Im just asking for these first thats all.

Aarren

Avarice - Good job im thick skinned otherwise I might have been insulted by that!!! lol!!! nice post.

I will hopefully be making my T2J contribution within the next week (because of all the pressure from those un-named). All I wanted to do was to do things properly and professionally without the risk of getting ripped off again like I did before. All I have been trying to do is protect my own interests. Where's the harm in that????
