I picked up your cd on Monday night at a record store, but decided to wait until Tuesday morning...the "official release date" to listen to it..
Tuesday morning it was me, SBM and a 4 hour car ride.. so my listening experience was uninterrupted..and I must say.. the title says it all...It truly is Strange Beautiful Music. Though your approach to writing seems much differen from past records.. its got the Satch feel all over it...and by that I mean the cd is rockin', emotional...strange and beautiful...
And you always seem to find a sound for 'love' with your guitar...how do you do it?
Can't wait to see you in Baltimore...

On the subject of Kenny Wayne Sheppard....I'd like to say that I'm happy that the trend of teenage blues guitarists has passed...but at least KWS was better than Johnny Lang... (sigh)...

Hill Groove is the coolest song.......
It reminds me of waking up on the best Saturday morning, cruising the neighborhood and shooting people "hey's" and "whats up" with my finger......along with shouting ridiculous 70's phrases like "DYNO-MITE!".....
Yeah I've got some free time to think about this stuff......
