MegaBoyd: you whoopied up the page!!! I thought that was Death Cube K's job?

"The Green" shows up for a rare appearance, and it's one of the best possible times...
Well, back to hibernating!!! Happy tunes!

Hi everyone! Briefly emerging out of hibernation...
Has anyone ever thought that people might report false news under a misunderstanding? Do you really think a music news site would deliberately publish something if they knew it was untrue? Perspectives, guys. Points of view. Sides of story. Don't crucify someone before they're found guilty.
Christian Alsing? Christian Lindskog. Gaily: I think Joe and his wife (who are all in good health) would like to keep their children...but they might lend them for a favour...jk
Clarky/Ovation: are you sure that Blair & Chiraq weren't "shaking hands" (trying to pinch each others' nerves) for a longer time?
Vaiolent Offbender...what is this a timewarp? Where's your buddy? Remember how people used to think KISS was tough? Heavy music? I laugh. Imagine Slipknot singing in high pitched voices like "I was made for loving you, baby" it'd be a total joke. What a bunch of wussies.
I remember a time when parents wouldn't let kids listen to bands like AC/DC, KISS and Metallica because they were heavy music (which is bad/evil whatever)!!! These days it's common sense to avoid those bands because they're awful!!!

and now for something completely different: seriousness.
Has anyone worked out "The Traveller"? I love that song. I often play rhythm guitar along when it comes on. It has this "mood"...
I think the song is in D, but I only play the low 3 strings (drop D style) for rhythm so the exact chords I'm unsure of.
Anyhoo, the intro bit is sorta (from memory) A, Bm, F#m...A, Bm, F#m etc until F#m...Bm... (then the Satch "squealing" starts) and it's D,Em,Bm...etc and then in the wahwahwahwah bit: Bm,A,G,A,Bm,A,G,A etc
BUT then it goes back to the intro again, and from this time forward F#m in the intro doesn't sound right. I think it's just Bm. And now I've forgotten what my question was. Oh well. It's a great song, and that D chord just sounds awesome there.

Austin: this is the Internet. Truth and non-truth are compromised. If you receive information from the Internet, how do you know someone has fabricated it or not? Have you ever played Chinese Whispers? After a few passes the original statement is warped, but the only one who can tell you it's wrong is the source. You think it's right. It's what you were told. You don't know what was said was "screen my phonecalls", because you heard "scream my balls off" (No Doubt - Spiderwebs)
Don't shoot messengers. Just try to obtain some common sense so that you won't ever be a misleading teller of news. Misinformed is different...it's hard to prevent.

Okay, time to spill the beans...
I am Hiram Abif, Jelly Man, Matt King and Phry Dom. All this time...you've been deceived.
Heck, why not...I'm Michelle, JS Clone 1, Clarky, Webmaster and Joe as well. Anyone else want me to be them?
edit: just in case you are gullible...ignore what I just said.

And I quote Elpp: Hell, all these posts make me feel like someone is pulling an Avarice-like prank and many are falling for it... still, it makes for some very funny reading.
Yes, but unfortunately I get a prick of conscience when I laugh...far out guys. Settle down a bit.
Okay here's a joke (hope you haven't heard it too many times before) to lighten things up:
When I die, I hope I go peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather - and not yelling and screaming like everyone else in the car.
Later, BEN

Dragonchild: but is that your favourite style of music? I know it isn't mine. Croony stuff is not high on my list!!!
edit: whoops removed solution to fish thing
Avarice: come now, even Clarky can spell "humour" the correct (English) way.
Greg M: Dreaming #11 is a cool CD...the last 3/4 especially...Memories is a great track.
Cube: do you suppose someone else may have put those bogus posts on his site? No-one is up themselves enough to promote themselves like that.
Austin: I'll give you a run-down: "you are a so&so" "don't be mean, guys" "Jesus is real" "Jesus is fake" "you have curly hair" "I'm Avarice" "No, I'm Avarice" "anyways wolf man jack here ,so yeagh its been longer than 3 days ahh4 or 5 or sumthing like that man"
Enjoy.

Wow where have I been? Hey good to see some more light-heartedness here of late...
Austin: The Channel Islands are in the English Channel, between France and England. Australia is in the southern hemisphere, between Africa, Asia and South America. #Poke in ribs#
Damn, first time in ages I only have 1 page open, and I've forgotten all the other things to reply to.
Michelle: "monster links" heh heh "ladder" heh heh
What I miss about the old look: "Aaahhh! Fresh page!"

Hey, here's a plan. To help out those who only rarely come here:
WEBMASTER what about updating the default for T2J load up so that every 2 months or so it advances through the posts...
eg, it comes up with only the last 2 months worth of stuff (max) instead of everything since "aah fresh site" a whole year ago. Just yesterday someone commented "yeah webmaster congrats on the new website appearance"...hmmm...
Make sense? Sound reasonable?

Wow can't believe I just read 10 pages before replying to anything...
Yeah, my drum kit is called "PEARLY" because I stole it backstage the last time I was in Florida.
Actually it isn't, but if it was, it would be something to do with the manufacturer...
And my guitar is called "Meega Tar" but I generally spell it as "my guitar"
Prog X/Dave/Trutina: I would have thought "Master" "Slave" and "Control" would have been good names for the keyboards...but it's not really that funny is it?
Song of the day: Neverending Soda (ah ah aah ah ah aah ah ah aah)

Greg: wow, is Tasmania a country now? Wicked. I'll be able to represent my country in something much easier now!
I thought I'd check out Staind's new album (in store) and I'm listening from the beginning...I'm thinking: "Hey! What the foos? This is wussie. I thought these guys were meant to be tough." Little boy vocals and 80s guitar breaks everywhere...
The lyrics for the first song didn't match up...so...I'm thinking "okay this is the wrong CD in the CD changer"
Then it dawned on me...this sounds like Metallica! The new Metallica album. There you have it. I thought it was wussie 80s music, without even knowing it was Metallica. So there.
Anyone else (I did as soon as I first heard the title) notice that St Anger is an anagram for "strange"?

Clarky: 15 instruments...bloody hell! How many of those were beer bottles? Or were they included in the drums?
Austin: you don't say bloody hell? Bloody hell! Maybe I make up for your lack there...
News on Steve's (not "Hey Steve", Steve Vai) releases is pretty good. I look forward to the first CD. (Not to mention the "Elusive Astoria DVD")
Weekend beckons...but I'm on holidays so what's the difference?

Greg: Are you referring to John the Duke of Avram? It was completely against the law, but he didn't get into any trouble I don't think. Good laugh though.
PS there's the island continent "Australia"...and there's the country "Australia" (which includes the island of Tasmania).
Talking about slow notes: yeah I suppose it's because if a note is 0.1 of a measure out of time, the more time between notes, the more out of time the note will be. Confused?
0.1 * 2 sec = 0.2 seconds out.
0.1 * 0.5 sec = 0.05 seconds out.
Mistakes are more noticeable. Imperfections are amplified. Stuffups are more obvious.
Trutina: "some other new abomination" heh heh heh
Okay, so I'm the only one that doesn't get the "instrumental B-side" joke?
Too bad.
