962: there's a Dorset not too far from here...

G3 in October? Steve compilation album?

OCP/Jelly Man: Dvorak. I'm not even a classically minded and I know how to spell it!!!

Quito: my first DVD was G3, followed by LISF. I still don't have a player. I often watch them when I visit my parents!

You're all a bunch of gullible fools. Gregg Bissonette is a drummer. Matt Bissonette plays bass. The Crippler was joking.

Ethn: not likely.

OCP: no big deal...maybe if he had used the name "Dogboy" he'd've had more success with the pop market...

"Good" (?) to see ol' Wolfie back to "normal" again...

YaYo Gakk: my friend's car stereo was imported from Germany and my Engines of Creation CD from the USA brought up the names of the tracks etc just like your LISF did. Maybe your other CDs aren't US imports? That could be why they don't do the same.

Crushing Day: why should you be worried about a typo? No-one would notice the difference...!!!

It's serious hungry time right here...missed breakfast again. And turned up 9:05am again. I couldn't turn up on time if I was sitting on a clock rotating skywards. (Little joke there.)

Send us some news, Joe! What's going on with this G3 tour?

Don't forget that the Bissonettes had mullets in the sleeves of The Extremist and Time Machine too. Check 'em out. Matt looks so awful! Ha good old retrospect. Looking back it's yuck, but back then...

MikeO: where did you hear about Joe doing a compilation? You haven't confused it with Steve have you?

Death Cube K: listened to Cubicle with a left-channel-functional-only set of earphones:

It seems to be in the wrong order. First 30 seconds good. Next 1 minute sounds like it wants to be towards the end. Orchestra bit and all the stuff after it is cool. I think maybe swapping that other minute with some of the bits in the last minute & a half or so would do the trick for me!

edit: whoops earphones, not earplugs!

Ovation: I know what you mean about the compilation thing, but this one is a bit different in that Steve is currently working on 2 new albums, a live DVD and an upcoming G3 tour (JOE WHAT IS GOING ON?!? NEWS?!?) so it's not like he's resting on his laurels, but...it's still unnecessary.

If you consider he's releasing 10 (or 11) archive CDs as well, it's a serious "consumer pays" thing. (Talk about burnout.)

Maybe he should call the album "Easy Quid Stuff"...oooo...flame me....flame you...I ain't no guitar virtuoso...

Dave: it's been really quiet. Like a ghost town. I think it's starting to pick up though.

SupaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaDave: it's well known that the English tell Irish jokes all the time...it's like blonde jokes, except you say "Irishman" instead of "blonde"

Hi all, had a very busy weekend. Greeted with a busy Monday morning. Yay. Gotta run, rent was due on Friday, and it's Monday arvo...

Hmmm, news...very welcome it is.

Hey Joe, we're all sitting here waiting for the official news. Tour details? New material details? Stuff in general? How is your family? I know my favourite bands have got new material out soon. I might get to see them soon too.

What is going to happen with the T2J CD? Anti-climaxes are rife at the moment...

Hey all. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Webdaddy has been so for a few months already.

G3 with Yngwie!!! Man I don't like him but it would be sick to go and see. Finally, Joe, Steve & Yngwie all together at once. I wish I could go and see it!!!

T2J CD: R6Rocker added his name to the list, but somehow it got removed. Whoever knows where to put it, put it back on there!!!

Oh yeah, that's right. It is commonly accepted as "gospel" that G stands for "guitarist/guitar" and that there are three of them, but I read somewhere years ago that the G stood for "generation" that Joe/Steve/the 3rd guy (Yngwie in this case) were of the 3rd wave of electric guitarists.

Hey whatever. It makes little difference to me.

But I don't know about the length of the tour. Check out the "road" section of this site. The old tour dates are still there.

YaYoGakk: that's old news, man. You've been away too long.

Mowlie: it's one song. If you're good enough, you can surely come up with something else as good if it gets stolen. Don't be such a stinge, dude. They're going ahead anyway, whether it's plan A or B.

Dragonchild: you'll have to give me a demonstration...I'm sitting here doing the puckered fish thing and all I get is funny looks from the young ladies over there...

I always thought it was pronounced engwee but I've never stepped outside of this fantastic country so what would I know?! Just call him Mr Malmsteen, can't go far wrong there.

Last night I got my SBM CD back from a friend who'd had it for months. When I told him about the G3 tour he lay on his back with his hands on his head.

"You can't tell me that and say they're not coming here..."

The look on his face...

"No way..."

Hey all!!!

Austin: if they do a Deep Purple song, my tip is "Seven String" oh wait, Joe wrote that one...

Quito: it is fuuuu-ry not boo

Greg: there's a running joke right throught the credits about moose (pl)

Stu Clone: Clarky is the other guy. I forget what his excuse was.

Avarice: Addam Fox. He wrote a song that got stolen by Steve Lukather called "Party in Simon's Pants". Aarren was thinking about his song "Wannabe" that was stolen by the Spice Girls, and he confused Trutina with Addam Fox.

It's all fun and games until someone tells a bad joke.

Regarding the Yngwie leaving G3 thing, I reckon it would only be because a whole heap of people gave him crap. Leave it alone, guys. So what if he "appreciates himself" you don't have to ruin a G3 show because of it.

I don't reckon Joe and Steve would invite Yngwie on G3 if they thought he would pull out. I don't reckon he'd accept the invitation if he didn't feel welcome. If Joe thinks Yngwie is good enough for the tour, then he is.

Mowlie: I understand your reasoning now...but it still stands that this CD can't go ahead if it keeps being stalled.

Guitarcake: Well, he didn't contradict himself because he told Greg to keep his opinions to himself. He said nothing about anyone else's...

Vacca: he definately uses the first two, but I have never heard him use an etc pedal.

Wow, is that why he didn't cut sick like the other two? I thought he was just being a tightarse, when it was the stupid contract restrictions. You look through the sleeve of the CD and there's definately way more JS & SV than EJ.

And the recordings...take out Manhattan and the 2 tracks from CD last twice as long as the DVD ones. Poor show by poor contract beaurocracy.

Dave: for a second there I thought you said you'd "lost cahones"...

Alright so there's the deal...read Webmaster's post and you'll see that a world tour depends on a huge US tour, so all you poop-heads having a cry about Yngwie being on G3 can turn up anyway and make this tour massive. Then, and only then can the tour proceed to Europe, where again it will have to be freaking huge...resulting in an Asia/Pacific tour including MY BACKYARD...come on everyone...I hold you all responsible...

Okay, I'm officially bored. One of my favourite TV shows got axed and I didn't know...I'm staying up to watch "Micallef Tonight" and The Bachelor 3 is on instead...eh? 2 days later my friend tells me it got axed, due to poor ratings. Well I'm not surprised considering the crap timeslot and the boring interviews they made him do. (In between the funny stuff...)

Time to go home...have a good weekend all. I'll probably be working away the whole time...so in that case never mind the "good weekend" bit, I'll be here anyway.

BEN

almost couldn't be bothered turning nevermind into never mind...only just made it

No one said G3 will be confined to North America...the prospect of it leaving the continent relies on the tour being successful (to a significant enough degree)...so before the tour has even started don't say it won't go anywhere else. So what if it's a 1% chance of happening...it's not zero so don't say it's zero.

You are a fool.

Austin: whoa-ho-ho...huge response...I'm detecting serious offense taken on your part. My point still stands, and Quito hit the nail on the head (3 or 4 times)...and It's not a waste of anything to hope/dream/fantasize. My post was directed at a number of "attitudes" I picked up over the last few pages, not necessarily just your (untrue) statement.

Austin: if you look at the pages that show who the guitarists/bassists/etc are it gives a number...that could be the number the Webmaster is referring to.

I think it's a waste of time, considering GUITAR represents @ 95%+...

Greg M: I disagree. All I needed to get into computing was 20/100 and no prerequisites...so I didn't try as much as I could have. Now I wish I had, and I could change back to studying academic stuff like physics/chemistry/maths that I was good at and enjoyed rather than stupid computer science, software engineering and network crap. I can see myself in a white labcoat...but my marks were crap in comparison to the requirements that I should have met with ease, so it's not going to happen. #sniff# I decided after 2 years of evil pain that I'd soldier on until I graduate (end of next year) and then who knows...I might go and work at the supermarket...yeah...I'll be the check-out dude...look out...maybe petrol station or taxi driving...McDonalds...jk. I hope.

OME: I know exactly what you mean, but it's not the site's fault. It's your cookies. I use a network account, and if I use the windows machines I'm always logged in, but on the macs there's something wrong with the browser so it doesn't save my cookies and I have to log in each time to be greeted by "ahh...fresh site" which takes 100 years to load up.

Barrie: wow. You've been playing guitar for the longest by the look of things...
