One thing it might be nice to ask Joe about that isn't asked much in inteviews with him is the production side of things...
When I did my phone interview with Joe, I asked (just to check) if Is there Love in Space? was the first album he produced by himself... and he actually had to think about it awhile! Seems to me he wasn't expecting the question, 'cos everybody just wants to know about his guitar technique and his relationships with other legendary guitarists. But the sound-sculpting side of it is important too...
Also ask him about the relationship between a song's title and the feel of the song. That's a goldmine of insight I barely tapped into before my interview time was over.
