Good morning everyone. Hope yall are having a nice weekend. Keep rockin!

Joe, Eric has a new title...... "Horseshow Dad"! Juliet was in her first horse show this weekend. Can you imagine a tiny little kid trying to navigate on a huge swayback thirty something year old horse named.... Buckwheat? She won!! Eric was all grins!

Have a great week everybody.

Sleeping late on the weekends is something that I let Eric and Juliet do if we can and they both love it. I wake them softly with kisses if needed. Later we get into the wild play.

My brother and I were jumping on the bed when we were teenagers while my mother was at work. He and I were jumping so high that we were trying to hit the ceiling. Well, my brother did something funky and ended up face first into the headboard of the bed (like an attached solid wood book shelf). It cracked his head wide open and blood was shooting out like a super soaker water gun all the way across the room!!! It scared the dog mess out of both us us since we thought he was going to die. It took 30 minutes to get the ambulance out to our house in the country. In the mean time I employed every "Emergency" episode I had ever seen to "treat " him.

He was ok besides having a shaved banged up head and multiple stiches. needless to say, we learned our lesson about jumping on the bed no matter how much fun it was to pop the other across the room through the air. My mother didnt even have to punish us.

We still laugh about it though. And neither of us encourage bed jumping in our children since we have seen first hand the sight of blood shooting 10 feet across the room continuously from someone's head. (that will clinch your butt cheeks!).

My little sister did get a trampoline from Santa that next christmas though.:)

Hello everybody. It is an absolute beautiful morning here in LA with crystal sunshine and cool temps...... just perfect for riding my horse! Hey Joe, did Eric tell you that he has been riding horses and doing well? He loves a bruised fanny! needless to say, he has been looking at more comfortable saddles on line and reading horseback riding books so that we can continue on with trail riding in the mountains. The French cowboy is cute!! I have a few pictures of his new endeavor but yet to have a silly cross eyed picture of him on the horse. Im sure I will have one soon enough. Hope yall have a great day today. Give someone you love a hug and a smile to make their day great too.

Hi Joe. On my way home from the airport today I was listening to Flying In A Blue Dream. It has been awhile since I've listened to it and I had forgotten how much I love it. Juliet made me hit repeat three times for "I Believe". Great cd!! Juliet and I sang happily in the stopped 405 traffic.

Hi Maire, Your loyalty is true friendship. But don't let the bitterness that a handful of nasty people have get you down. Karma already has them in a miserable condition or they would not have the need to be so hurtful. We are happy and loving life and do not insist on fighting such an unwarranted battle. Why can't we all just get along? Those that have compassion without jealousy will. Smile and know that you are a beautiful soul that cares for your friends.... That is happiness that we share with you.

Happy thoughts to those that receive them.

Song of the day......Time.

Time heals!

Man, If I don't read ttj often, I have to go through 20 something pages a day it seems!!! The problem is that sometimes it can be weeks to catch up! But, it is always worth the entertainment.

Awww what a shame that there are people that don't see a big deal about Valentine's Day. I guess if your mate isn't a romantic or one has a lack of love in their life, one would think there is no point. It isn't about the flowers that you get or give or even the gifts but that people care enough to extend their hearts for love... and so what if it is also a marketing ploy.... It stimulates the economy!lol.

I had the best Valentine's Day ever!!

Man, some of these people really have their heads up their asses regarding terrorism!! It is a real threat and we must all be prepared and we should be on orange alert even if some dude did fail a lie detector test! The alert wasn't based on one lie detector test anyway but from a collaboration of intelligence info. oh well, can't educate the "know it alls"!

As far as war protests, lest we not forget that because we live in a society of freedom in the USA, we can protest what we believe in and what we disagree with without fear. This freedom came with a price that our fore fathers fought for... Some fights warranted, some fights not.

I wish we didn't have to have a war! I also know that the price of freedom is high. I am proud of America and take America seriously as I try to decipher propaganda. This is our right and this is our freedom. "United we stand, divided we fall".

The vibe in California is mainly "peace man!"!

I pray for world peace. It all starts with love and kindness for humanity within ourselves..... and good music!

Remember this the next time you hold the door for someone at the grocery store, smile at someone or any other small act of kindness. One act of kindness changes the world just one tiny bit and most of all, it changes your heart.

Take care everybody.

PEACE!

Wow.... just got this e mail from a friend across the big pond and thought I would share it. It has a few valid points. Take from it what you will.

Subject: Fw: A testimonial from an Australian....

>You probably missed it in the rush of news last

>week, but there was actually a report that someone in Pakistan had

>published in a newspaper an offer of a reward to anyone who killed an

>American, any

>American.

>

>So an Australian dentist wrote the following to

>let everyone know what an American is, so they

>would know when they found one:

>

>An American is English, or French, or Italian,

>Irish, German, Spanish, Polish, Russian or Greek.

>An American may also be Canadian, Mexican,

>African, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean,

>Australian, Iranian, Asian, or Arab, or

>Pakistani, or Afghan. An American may also be a

>Cherokee, Osage, Blackfoot, Navaho, Apache,

>Seminole or one of the many other tribes known as

>native Americans.

>

>An American is Christian, or he could be Jewish,

>or Buddhist, or Muslim. In fact, there are more

>Muslims in America than in Afghanistan. The only

>difference is that in America they are free to

>worship as each of them chooses.

>

>An American is also free to believe in no

>religion. For that he will answer

>only to God, not to the government, or to armed

>thugs claiming to speak for the government and

>for God.

>

>An American is from the most prosperous land in

>the history of the world.

>

>The root of that prosperity can be found in the

>Declaration of Independence, which recognizes the

>God given right of each person the pursuit of

>happiness.

>

>An American is generous. Americans have helped

>out just about every other nation in the world in

>their time of need. When Afghanistan was overrun

>by the Soviet army 20 years ago, Americans came

>with arms and supplies to enable the people to

>win back their country. As of the morning of

>September 11, Americans had given more than any

>other nation to the poor in Afghanistan.

>

>Americans welcome the best, the best products,

>the best books, the best music, the best food,

>the best athletes. But they also welcome the

>least.

>

>The national symbol of America, The Statue of

>Liberty, welcomes your tired and your poor, the

>wretched refuse of your teeming shores, the

>homeless, tempest tossed. These in fact are the

>people who built America.

>

>Some of them were working in the Twin Towers the

>morning of September 11, 2001 earning a better

>life for their families.

>

>I've been told that the World Trade Center

>victims were from at least 30 other countries,

>cultures, and first languages, including those

>that aided and abetted the terrorists.

>

>So you can try to kill an American if you must.

>Hitler did. So did General Tojo, and Stalin, and

>Mao Tse-Tung, and every bloodthirsty tyrant in

>the history of the world. But, in doing so you

>would just be killing yourself.

>

>Because Americans are not a particular people

>from a particular place.

>They are the embodiment of the human spirit of

>freedom. Everyone who holds to that spirit,

>everywhere, is an American.

>

>Pass this around the World.

A fast lover doesn't make someone a great lover or even an effective lover ... the same COULD be compared and contrasted with guitar playing. You think Malmsteen would agree? It takes melody and varied rhythm to be great ... certainly not speed. speed = great? I think not! Speed has it's place... It is great for riding horses, ambulances, NASCAR and down hill skiing. I do like the "speed" of Devil's Slide most certainly and get charged with energy every time I hear it. It is the melody in songs like Crystal Planet, EOC, FIABD and I Believe that grab my soul and makes me think... "That boy is a GREAT guitar player".

Loo Hoo.. Happy belated birthday!

Happy Easter everyone. Hope you get the golden egg.

First you have to exhaust all possibilities of resolving the issue. Check into filing a fraud complaint and they will give you all contact information (including phone numbers) and steps to take to resolve the issue. Don't let those people take your money!!!
