hey all - just finished some changes to the road page that now makes it much easier to identify at a glance when presales are available, regular ticket links, and the premium ticket packages (when available).

also check out the new newsletter that should be hitting your inboxes and is also posted in the news here on the site. i think the one thing that people might dig is the special "club joe" add-on option that kicks in 3 weeks before each show (when premium ticket packages go off-sale). it's a way for anyone who already bought their tickets to upgrade to get access to the club joe features, most notable the 60-minute sitdown with joe before the show :}

satriella - at *last* your drawings are in the fanart photo gallery. thanks for being patient :} i dont have a copy of the rockline show-- if i had one i'd check to see if we could get clearance to post it to share with everyone who couldn't listen in realtime. i like the idea of searching other fans based on location-- do other people think that'd be useful? if so, post (and include 'webmaster' in your reply so i'll see it).

all - i am still up for having y'all pick someone to be in charge of the satch press/news items section of the site. if it seems like a voting system is the best way, i can set that up. i'd like to see if you all can organize it yourselves first, though. as a first step, someone volunteer to put together a list of anyone who is throwing their hat into the ring. i'll check back in a week to see how you have done-- post a message with "webmaster" in the title :} and yeah, rather than open it up to everyone, i'd like to keep it a little more controlled as our first step in opening things up at all. maybe in the future we'll do something more open :}

duffnotes, axl59, and anyone who has sent in photos - your photos are probably in the queue of a thousand or so messages waiting to be handled. they will eventually, i promise!

schubie - we have had details posted for a number of years about sending self-addressed & stamped envelopes to request picks and autographed photos-- this is info that joe's mgmt gave me to post. i never see any of that snail mail so have no idea what state any of it may be in-- but i am checking to verify it is still something that eventually gets taken care of. if not, i will update the site and let you know. sorry you feel slighted-- it certainly isn't anything intentional, nor anything even in my control. sometimes joe gets very busy for months on end and i imagine there's always the possibility of things getting lost in the shuffle if they get backed up.

cosmic_ape - i saw reference to some suggestion you made, but can't find the actual post. repost (with "webmaster" in it somewhere) and i'll take a look.

cheese101 - you are right-- the # of aftershow winners has been dropped down. originaly it was done for the down under shows, but i think for logistical reasons it had to stay that way. you can trust that i'll check periodically to see if we can bump it back up. :} also, thanks for noting the reviews problem, i've fixed it!

EclecticEargasm - right now i have confirmation from all venues except the gramercy that they are all ages shows. we're of course doing everything we can to make them *all* all-ages. but you're set for HOB/chicago :}

dream3 - i have heard confirmation that the release date won't be the same throughout the entire world, but i am waiting on details of where it might be different. once i get that info, i'll post it to the site.

jeremywills - the remastering is done by joe with john cuniberti, who was there during the recording of the album so you can trust this isn't one of those record-label-driven-remasterings-- this is from the source and i think you can trust it'll sound amazing. i haven't heard it yet, but i'm looking forward to it :}

Got an email about an interview with Joe that is airing the 4th and the 7th in the UK. Planet Rock broadcasts on DAB digital radio, Sky TV 0110, Cable Channel 924 and online.

here's what they said:

Joe came in to the Planet Rock studios to do the hour long show with Planet Rock presenter Mark Jeeves. Mark talked to him about the music that influenced him, as well the music he loves and music he listening to today. To hear what songs Joe picked and the reasons why tune into Planet Rock on this Saturday 4th August 2007 6pm (UK time) repeated Tuesday 7th August 6pm. The interview was recorded after his Hyde Park Calling concert in London in July 2007
