keniko - the duplicate video podcast problem you describe i tracked down to being related to the URL of the videos changing (they moved to a sony server). apparently iTunes figures that even though you already have the episode, since the url is different, you should download it again. it isn't a problem for the audio version, and future episodes won't have this problem since they won't be moving again :} just nuke the dups and you'll be golden.

all - episode 5 of the podcast is now up, check it out! also, if you've been digging the podcasts so far, hop over to itunes and post a comment letting other people know they should check it out. for this week you can find it featured in the main "podcasts" area of the music store, too!

all (well, really folks in traveling distance to Los Angles) - check out the news about the special FREE show joe will be playing to launch the new album on Mar 14th in LA! i'm sure laminates will go *fast* so you'll want to show up early to get yours!

also, in the road area we've got a couple more new shows announced and a whole series of in-store appearances (no performing, but CD signings!

cuthbert1776 - i've been waiting for confirmation on the second HOB show and now have it and the date is up. it "shouldn't" have been released yet, but sometimes mistakes happen :}

962 - haven't heard anything about UK & amazon UK, but from what i have been told previously, the release date there *should* be the same.

hey-- glad to see you all are getting used to the podcast schedule! it makes me feel good knowing that it's appreciated that i put things up at the crack of midnight (or sometimes earlier), instead of waiting until 9am the next morning :}

international release dates -- just got some updated news that says the album comes out in the UK on 3/24 and some other countries on 3/21. the main discography page is updated with this info and i'll let you know other news as it develops on that front.

other exciting news... we've got a video for super colossal coming at you this weekend! it features joe stomping through a digital city, 20 stories tall :}

also heard that there's probably around 15 more dates that will be coming in the US tour, just to give you an idea of what's still to be confirmed and announced.

gruskada - that looks like a real old info on that site. party on the enterprise is an earlier title for crowd chant (all will be explained in the podcast episode 13).

everyone - looks like those uk tour dates got leaked out before they were supposed to (as i warned sometimes happens). they are confirmed dates and i'm waiting for further clarification as to whether there will be premium tickets for those shows and who (if anyone) is opening.

the podcast - yes, it (finally) went up late friday since i was in rehearsal with joe and the band all day. to make up for my tardiness (won't you please forgive me?) i offer you two things:

1) a brand new web greeting (on the home page)

2) exclusive photo gallery from rehearsal!

oh yeah-- also just got two new european dates in france-- one's a festival and the other a regular show. the etix folks are still researching whether they can do premium ticket packages in europe and will let me know soon (and i'll let you know of course).

all - a lot of people have posted URLs to super colossal reviews and other related stories. if someone wants to go through and collect the full set of 'em and email to me (webmaster@satriani.com) i'll tryto find a place to put a list of them all for people to easily check out.

i just put up the 26-minute feature from the CD Release Event in LA-- so far only the 100k version ("small") is finished uploading, but the others will show up as they finish. it features some great interviews with some of y'all from T2J who were waiting in line (plus of course a lotta joe and the band) :}
