Can anyone tell me which harmonizer Joe uses when he plays 'Why' live nowadays (2003). I'd like to play the song with my band but I can't find the right harmonizer.

Hello everybody. I am looking for the effectpedal that Joe used on the song 'Why'. It's called (As far as I know) the 'Digitech Harmony Machine'. It's no longer in production but I am looking for a used one. I think the full name of the pedal is 'Digitech HM4 Harmony Machine'. Can anyone help me find this glorious pedal? If so you can E-mail me if you'd like at Avzwam@Hotmail.com. P.S. :I think the HM4 is not a rack mounted thing like the Super Harmony Machine, but an actual pedal like the Whammy.

Hi everyone. I saw this Satch title that I never heard of on www.bol.com. This is an online music/dvd/book-store. Th Satch is called 'COFFRET PASSION'. Joe can actually buy this. They say it's a double-cd realeased in 2000. Doe s anyone know if this as an actual title? Super Colosall rules. It's a bit weird here and there (tracks 3 and 6) but overall it's really cool.

I stay away from live shows. Because for me, it is a frightening experience. I can't enjoy, or hear the music properly. I just hear this: BRPFFFGRRRBMPPPFFF!!! It's so loud, that it can't be healthy. I'm actually guessing at which point the band is in the song. I recognise the song, but all is really said with that. I'm standing there actually thinking it's possible my eardrums will break. Or that the noise is going to somehow damage my physical health. It's terrifying. So that's why I'm always happy when live DVD's are released. That way, I can sit in the comfort of my own home, and actually enjoy a live satriani performance properly. This is something I can't do when I go to a show. With all due respect of course. It's just that I'm puzzled why live shows always have to be so loud, that you can't enjoy the music anymore. When you watch a live DVD, why can't you hear it like that when you go to a show? I don't get it.
