IceZer - freaky friday sucked.... she didnt even have her fingers where they should have been and it wasnt even punk, it was like MTV punk - aka, corporate punk, pretty weak movie IMO... would be good for 5 to 10 year olds though.

thanks to EVERYONE for the birthday wishes! i got $60 cash, a really cool radio shack battery charging system that charges batteries in 15 mins, and my girl ordered my the rolling stones four flicks DVD, hopefully its good!!!! playing NFL Street on playstation 2, go get it, its a good game... but it cheats!

DO THE STU- no i havent played them but i have nba street vol 2 on order, i joined this thing called govojo.com (now called gplay) and its like netflix but for playstation 2, xbox, gamecube games...$19.99 a month and u keep them as long as u want etc just like netflix, so im getting games from them and copying them, yes im a bad....bad boy... hopefully four flicks will be here tomorrow, aone have it? is it any good?

DO THE STU- ive been leary as well, cause amazon.com and cduniverse list the first song as something like " intro - dr dre remix " or something, i was like "oh no not the stones too" after all the aerosmith - pop - rap bullshit im starting to think the stones have fallen victim to hunger for new commercial suck-sess....i hope not.

amddata- i think the site is just allowing people to express themselves in any way they feel, kinda like joe's music.... i think the labguage filter sucked when it as on, while i dont use many foul words in my posts sometimes i do without even knowing it, i think of what i want to say and type at the same time so its sort of like talking but with my fingers and when the filter was on i would have to edit my post like 3 or 4 times cause i didnt even know i used filtered words, you have elected to stay away due to free expression, thats your right, but you're missing out cause this messageboard is a good place to stay up to date with what joe's doing.
DO THE STU- just watched four flicks, it is ALRIGHT....wasnt as good as i hoped but after the steve vai DVD what would be? how can you follow up live at the astoria? overall it was ok, a lot of repeat songs through the different shows and the HUGE downside was sheryl crow coming out on one song, as soon as she popped her head in i hit the skip button.... my favorite part was the "extra" on disc 3 where ac/dc and the stones talked about their gigs they played together, they looked like they were having the time of their lives jamming with eachother... pretty cool

JS JP 41 id definitely go with Flying In A Blue Dream... it has it all.... deep bass, awesome chords, great leads, lots of emotion, it has a little bit of everything and everyone who i've played it for has said nothing but good things...
thefireman- yeah, they say steve vai is a wanker and dresses in spandex and wears pink... korn rocks etc but they shut the fuck up real fast when it's pointed out that korn plays steve's guitars, and korn worships steve... it just points to the fact that they dont follow korn, they follow MTV and like korn because they are on tv/radio, they dont like them for any personal reason...they know nothing about the bad or who the band likes... they skipped the solo cause they cant hang.... korn is the band that has gone the farthest with 3 notes....gotta hand it to em'

THEFIREMAN- LOL i don't like korn... the drummer did a calvin klein ad, what true metal head would do an ad for something that represents an image opposite of the one they portray? a fake one. pays hommage to metallica at the ICON MTV gig then bashes them....oh thats right, it was all for MTV.... i like very few commercial artists, 99% of them abandon their music for money and/or commercialism/success... look at aerosmith, great band gone awry...i have much, much, much more respect for an artist who sticks to what THEY WANT TO DO regardless of success, sales, fans, money, whatever... too many artists play/sing/put out what everyone wants to hear or whatever will sell... integrity = 0%.... joe = 110%

zonin- that commercial sucked IMO, it's like using beethoven to sell doritos... how the fuck would they know beethoven would even like cheese let alone thei chips? i dont dig those kinda commercials... and of course they use purple haze, as if thats the only good song jimi wrote, once again playing to people's stupidity and simple mindedness....but maybe not cause pepsi realizes that people are dumb and will only remember what they heard on the radio, u know... the "hits" so they use the biggest hit. his family will do anything to cash in on his name, i think a while back they were selling rocks from his grave, i think it was jimi's father or someone....and joe had something to say about it.

zonin - yeah its great to hear jimi, hell that was played to over 1 billion people, but it's how he was used....to sell pepsi, and he isnt even here to decide if he gets to push pepsi or not....not only that but coke is the original, and jimi was an original, not a copy....i doubt he would even endorse such a product LOL, it may be over analyzing but it's blasphemous to a lot of people....its like if joe was dead, but he was real popular....and they used him to push fubu clothing, it's like what the hell? you would be offended....i believe thats what happened, some of us were offended... i feel even better now about buying coke lol

i find windows xp pro to be very stable, since a restart my pc has been up 3 days 21 hours 28 minutes and ive downloaded over 12 gigs of stuff since then, you just have to know what you're doing, and be careful of what you install and what it does... other than that its the most stable OS microsoft has offered IMO

DAVEY WAVEY- no hilton or other porn vids here... all playstation 2 dvd images and music software. got newer versions of steinberg halion, nuendo dolby, bbe sonic maximizer, tons of vsti stuff, tons of new plugins... as per music related stuff XP does great, floating point calculations are all done by the CPU not the operating system, upgrade brother.
linux & unix machines stay up for years at a time because the OS is made to do specific things and thats it, they aren't desktop operating systems the average person would or could use... though i used to dig mandrake

DAVEY WAVEY- but remember win2k and winxp are NT based operating systems, they wont just install on any given hardware config like 98 will...it has to be a stable hardware config for the OS to run stable, sure downloading is just downloading but i run photoshop, various video editing applications and burn DVD's all day long without a hiccup, on win 98 i'd have to reboot every 3 hours because it's resource management was horrible. BTW havent restarted since i posted last, not that it's a big thing but the convenience factor is great.
