JOE - everyone - check this video out, i dunno who this is but this guy plays 'time' and the sound is very very close to joe's, in a lot of parts if you close your eyes it's hard to tell who's playing, is the guy a member here? ....seriously, ive seen/heard a lot of satch wannabees, i wouldnt tell you guys to watch it if it was bullshit....

BARRIE POOLE- do you know if he's a member here? he is too good man, you are right....his playing is so fluid and right on it's crazy, there are a couple spots where he messes up a little but wow....awesome.

was flipping through channels and saw E! true hollywood story on rod stewart so i watched it for a few seconds to see if they would mention jeff beck.... they did, for 5 seconds, some shit face from rolling stone mag said that he didn't know how the two shared the same stage together with their egos.... news to me, jeff always seemed like a cool calm humble guy.... yet another reason to hate rolling stone, as if there wasn't enough already....

PhryDom- I see, now theres news on the page about it....for some reason I'm just not excited about it, I mean I'm gonna get it but when past satriani stuff came out I got this little adrenaline rush and was pumped.....something isn't clicking for me. Right now I'm going through the selection process thing for the california department of corrections to be a corrections officer.... I have done everything now, all they need to do is do the background check on me.... I've done 2 written tests, 2 psych tests, the physical ability test, and fingerprints through live scan... we will see....

VAN HALEN AND ROTH - FINALLY IN 2007:
No more teasing. Never tease where Van Halen is concerned...I have information from a highly placed source that Van Halen will likely tour in 2007 with David Lee Roth as frontman.
Negotiations are currently underway to re-unite Van Halen with their original frontman for a tour in 2007 that will take in Amercia and possibly other territories. While nothing in the world of Van Halen is set until the band walk out on stage, I can confirm that negotiations between all parties have been underway for some time, trying to put together a big 2007 re-union tour.
One would presume the tour will feature classic VH era songs only. What I do not yet know is whether this plan includes exiled bass player Michael Anthony. Perhaps Wolfgang will play bass? I'm told these questions will be answered shortly.
Van Halen last toured in 2004 with Sammy Hagar, but the tour ended on a sour note and Hagar has not talked to Eddie Van Halen since.
What I also know is that there will be no new Van Halen release to go with the tour, such as The Best Of Both World's in 2004. There is no plans for a new compilation or a new studio album - just the tour.
More details when available.

apparently he has done 2 songs, 3 videos for some softcore porn flick, no joke, this is for real... hey maybe he's open to G3 !
To Summarize, the Van Halen content is (All in High-Definition Widescreen):
Three new Music Videos featuring Eddie Van Halen playing his new songs, “Rise” (5:03) & “Catherine” (6:37), both instrumentals.
The first video, "Rise", shows Eddie playing his original red striped Charvel Strat! And contains imagery from the movie "Sacred Sin" (no nudity). A Video Sample is below.
The second video, "Catherine" - shows Eddie playing Eddie playing guitar (and drums!) in his famous 5150 studio, and also contains imagery from the movie "Catherine" (no nudity).
The third video is "Catherine - The EVH Studio Cut."The entire 6 1/2 minute video is exclusively Eddie playing guitar (and drums!) in his famous 5150 studio! This is some very cool collectable footage of Ed in the studio... and there isn't much of that around! A Video Sample is below.
Eddie also contributed some transitional piano pieces that are sprinkled throughout the movie.
theres video's on the site! trying to find the vids elsewhere of a higher quality, i found the mp3's....but no vid yet, I don't wanna have to buy the porn flick to get the vids.
edit - I found the porn online on usenet, it's 2 DVD's (16 gigs), looks like a good 8 to 9 hours to download.... i'll extract them - woot!

STEVEE_T- for sure... I don't know why ed is oing music vids for porn flicks, but hey atleast he's doing something, and it's instrumental... which is kinda rare for him, I still think baluchatherium is one of the best tunes he's ever done.

COSMIC APE- lol...I was checking the van halen news desk.... I wanted more info on the upcoming roth reunion, hopefully it goes through.... eddie should have had a wah wah pedal and did the music for the whole flick - wacka wacka wacka wacka... like shaft.
I got both dvd's downloaded, of course his music vids are on disc 2.... figures.

CLARKY- AWESOME MAN! was wondering when this would happen... good stuff, I like the 2 new tunes (new to me) space time, and our blood on their hands (insane!) checked your myspace out, dig the green man...I tried to add you, so don't be alarmed... didn't know joe had a myspace, I tried to add him too... we'll see.... keep it rockin, I gotta add these tunes to the CD.
so just when you though eddie had his head on straight he goes and shows you just how wrong you are
so his son wacks it in the bathroom for 45 mins, and he's the new VH bass player... and he cured cancer by doing meth.... this guy is out to lunch, keep him far far away from G3... it was a good idea, and a sober/sane ed would be awesome, but this guy wouldn't last through sound check.
