today....ya yo TURNS 21! thats right....my oh my.... this can't be the 7th year i've been coming here...since 97? TIME flies i guess.... well i got a new mp3 car stereo and sony xplod speakers for my civic...woohoo, i think i'm gonna buy one of those flip down 7" LCD screens for my car, so i can watch dvd's and play playstation 2 while i'm in the school parking lot for 4 hours waiting to go to class...

TRUTINA interesting rumors, its possibly sammy is hanging around 5150...with mike anthony playing with him and all, but sammy back in van halen IS NOT a reunion... and would probably just piss a lot of fans off, cause sammy is a punk who sings sappy junk.... atleast Ed has been writing in his batcave and not just watching golden girls reruns and lifetime all day on the tube like we were all lead to believe....im sure he's kept those fingers in shape hitting the volume button.
DEATH CUBE K- i didn't go to NAMM bro, i was linked those pics from the van halen newsgroup... i don't think i'd wanna go to NAMM dude, it's all instruments and stuff, and i'm not a musician, only reason to go would be to star gaze... and that aint me.... i don't think singers should be at namm either, they don't play shit....they just take up space, go to a mic convention....

dave is the shit man, sammy is poodle hair journey-signing-sappy-love-songs-helping-lead-one of worlds greatest guitarists-into-lame-pop-land-holding-guitar-not playing it just like vince neil- type of singer. cant stand him or his crappy lyrics, he can go sing "OH BABY WE BELONG IN A WORLD THAT MUST BE STRONG OHH THAT'S WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF" to guys wearing leotards at the downtown gym while he's there working off that tequila tire he has goin....
Halen is dead.

ETH dunno man, it's just that when dave left/sammy joined ed's riffs started sucking.... too much keyboard not enough guitar, too pop no rock.... i have all the albums even III, but to me the original was much better, dave may be a jackass wacko who wears assless chaps and cant sing... but neither can joe, so whats the dilly-o ? dave was a partier, sammy pretends to be but sings about eagles and going fishing.... IMO sam sucks. but word has it that he can now make money selling tequila to jimmy buffet reject parrot heads in cabo.... only time will tell.

was removing decals off box trucks today, had the windows in my car down and was listening to 101.5 kgb-fm when surfing with the alien started, then the Dj started talking about satriani's show at the 4th & b... then they played some more clips of different songs... always with me....cryin..... that was cool, i got all excited lmao....dunno why...

that video of joe at the beach on KRON was cool! joe played EXCEPTIONALLY well for the conditions, what was that like 6 am ? at the damn beach? in frisco? my hands would be solid blocks of ice....joe never fails to impress.... very good!!! very good indeed...... rock on.

whats goin on.... the techtv clip was cool joe! guitarport is a cool device, my mom's boyfriend has one and uses it all the time, looks simple for what it does....the software is where its at., flying to phoenix in the morning, ill listen to flying in a blue dream on the plane.... get it... flying...blue....sky....ok nevermind.

Once bitten twice smoked... what a tragedy! let's pray for those who lost family members, i just read one club goers account on melodicrock.com and it was terrible... people were packed in the doorway in rows, he tried pulling someone out but the smoke overcame him, he turned back and the doorway/people were on fire....what sucks worse than going to a great white show? being burned to death at one.... pray pray pray.

edit - SHARIF - well said and very true!!! same with actors, those who must be paid the most by producers ($20 mill a film) are the ones that have to be pushed on us as being "the best" at what they do so we go pay $10 a ticket to see their next piece of shit at the theatres. it's amazing what a "grammy winner" sticker on an album thats been out for 9 months will do to sales, people buy that crap up like hotcakes....people who have never even heard of the artist or don't even like that genre of music, but because they have been declared "the best" they buy it up like sheep.... joe's the best period, so everyone else can suck a fart.

i read that grammy nominees get to go into this sorta gift room and get free stuff, if they choose one of each thing it comes to about $10,000 worth of stuff for free.... so if joe would have picked one of each thing for each time he was nominated he'd have about $80000000000000000 worth of stuff in his garage....

JS CLONE 1 - that was pretty cool man, that guy is damn good if he was really playing at that speed, maybe he recorded it slower and had it sped up? i heard a pop everytime there was a change, maybe he spliced it all together....who knows, still cool..... Ya-Yo Gakk....back in the saddle again
