just heard the new ZZ Top album "mescalero", sounds good...the song "alley gator" sounds kinda like a slow mind storm... they kinda went a lil electric with it....my fav is "buck nekkid" sounds like old zz....

'tallica is done with....hetfield looks like one giant leathery pok-mark.... lars can't drum, pippy long-stockings on bass doesn't fit, and kirk....well...he isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. any self proclaimed 'metal' band that attends a tribute show in their honor only to watch AND enjoy the likes of avril lavigne, and sum 41 perform their songs has to give it up and call it a day...

heard 'st. anger' on the radio in the car...first thing that popped into my head = "gee metallica has always been good at following the latest musical trends" i havent heard the other songs on the album but my guess is that they all sound nu-metal, maybe more 'st anger' yoddeling too? they need to call it a day. they sound like metallica trying to be metallica.

gonna watch the race (big dale jr fan) hopefully they show joe, my friend says they ALWAYS show the national anthem, so lets see....im sure if it was someone like kelly clarkson or some shyt they would dedicate half the race time to the thing....go joe

GET A LOAF- it wasn't steve vai either, it was danny alkana.... check mp3.com..... joe did not do beethoven's 5th, neither did steve. or over the rainbow or formula 1 or any of the other quirky things out there labeled "satriani" or "vai"...too many wannabees out there trying to prove they sound like joe or steve, or miseducated people renaming files....

FUZZ - Writing good material and guitar players don’t really seem to go together somehow, I mean if you take Joe Satriani - I love Satch, but sometimes you think, where are the tunes?

anyone know why my live in san francisco cd is the only cd i have that scrolls the name across my car cd player? i've never seen any other cd do that... it says "joe satriani/live in san francisco" i thought it was pretty cool...
