jonny depp is a great actor, one of the best... i'd like to see pirates, but i'm afraid it's a pirates taking at $9.50 to see a damn movie....
btw. i hear he's a pretty good guitarist too, as quoted by imdb.com "Featured on a rock album from the british band, Oasis. Depp plays lead slide guitar on the track, "Fade In-Out". Oasis's own lead guitarist was tOo drunk to perform it himself, so celebrity pal Depp stepped in and nailed the lead on one take"

SMITHERS- dont know if anyone answered your question or not, but G3 is usually longer than what you saw on the video...each guitarist does a set then they all play a few... not as long as they would play solo though, about an hour each then an hour together....around there]
SINATRA- i guess so huh....
well i just got back from 2 days at disneyland, too many people, too hot and too many 12 year olds in strollers. the rollercoaster at california adventure was down yesterday and today! how sucky...the only GOOD ride over there, so we went on splash mountain like 5 times in a row.... we got the special assistance pass so we could go right on the ride without waiting, woohoo... my fav ride at disneyland = pirates of the caribbean...
when we were boarding the tram to go to the car they were playing dancing in the streets (van halen version) over the P.A system....which was fitting, cause when i got to the car i was dancing in the streets...

MICHELLE- i read that eric quit cause he had to promote his own album that came out around that time, remember he was on loan from capitol so im sure they yanked him back to go push his own CD... i don't think theres any hard feelings, if there were i doubt he would have had alien love child released on steves label.
SMITHERS- joe, steve and eddie is the ultimate G3...like a tie with joe, steve & beck...but i seriously doubt it will happen, but then again rumour has it eddie and any future band he has cannot use the name van halen (warner bros owns the name?) so he may venture for a solo tour of some kind, and what better way to kick it off than with G3?
VACCA i know he uses a BOSS DS1 distortion, i think the settings are something like 3-5-9 or something, and he uses a dunlop 535q wah-wah, theres a video around here somewhere where joe goes through his whole setup step by step and explains everything...

CHRIS PETERS- indeed, i remember joe in an interview saying him and steve were in awe of eric while he was on the tour...thats a lot of demands on EJ from capitol if thats true, imagine all the channels joe had to go through to even see if EJ could join G3 !

i hope everyone enjoys this summers G3! i won't be catching it, as you know (or may not know) Humphrey's is not a very fan friendly venue, frankly they are anti-fan! we were almost beaten to death for having a camera on out possesion at the entrance, which made little sense cause everyone around us had them, some even had digitals + regulars.... then the part of the concert where joe engages the audience, the security fags jump up and make sure no one gets out of their seat....want to ask joe for a pic? risk getting tackled by a couple goons who are pissed they couldnt make the police force, not a good place to see a concert....a bit like watching joe from a prison cell, whats the point? maybe i could just mail joe the $450 that would have been spent on tickets to show my support...as long as humphreys gets $0

i was at ikes house in san marcos last tuesday, dude has
equipment out the fuckin ass....massive mixing boards, badass computer system with dual flat panels and some nice furniture, small house though....in good shape for being 74

GREG M- a very small desktop computer, like 7 inches by 8 inches by 11 inches...just as powerful as today's giant pc's...people are using them for almost everything, home entertainment centers, car pc's, almost anything you can think of...and putting them inside almost anything as well, look at www.mini-itx.com and click on "projects"... the mini-itx boards use soldered on via C3 processors (cant upgrade them), the one im refering to is slightly larger and can be upgraded a bit, look here for pics

that sucks about ticketmaster auctioning off the best seats, i have a feeling they will be ordered to stop by courts somewhere along the line cause they have a monopoly on tickets man.... most of the time if u go to the venue to buy the ticket its from ticketmaster anyways, so there is no way around the auction...hopefully they will be put out of business, never liked them.
