I can't speak for Joe but, I'm not sure he's got time to show you all the "rules of the road". Although, he's the ultimate teacher. My suggestion for you is to get ya hands on a Mel Bay Satriani song book, practice, practice and practice some more, listen until you dream the songs. At this point forget what you've learned and play what you hear in your heart. Joe's a hell of a player, but there can be only one Joe. Be yourself and put it out there. Good luck, twist it 'til 11.
