Joe have you ever drastically messed up the tuning on your guitar and then played it.For instance drop the low E as low as she can go,this should sound something like a dying moose or grizzly bear.Then put some tension on the A string, (raise the tuning,ya know go left),this should feel like you left your A string in the freezer over night.Continue this process in no particular order,ya know maybe the B string a dying duck where as the G string tight enough to rip holes through your calloused fingers...It might be a good idea to record your next record using these perculiar tunings.......
