GGG: Pplease check out an old friend of mine from Seattle, Travis Shredd and the Good Ole Homeboys! Country/Rap/ Rock! The band may not be touring....but they are great fun. Travis is a good buddy of "Weird Al's" drummer "Bongo Bob"! Joe: I hope your B-Day was great. Lots of family with you? What's your fave on cake? Orange for me. GB KTF

Mike: Time for a memorial.......I have been busy remanufacturing one of Steven's guitars....I'm refinnishing his old Yamaha RGX 211. Red of course. I am also fighting two ulcers one on each foot! Time again to struggle with school entrance...finish that pesky AA degree. Joe: This album is quite a pinnicle for you......Impressive. Wish I could catch the "BoneBash." I went to the first three. Got lucky when family won tickets. No such luck this time. John McCarthy for G3-05. Back to put another clear coat on the Yamamha! Fire Engine red! Not much left of that paint around here....because of the fires.

Ovation1: ATN would like to acknowledge your recent family's passing. I kept it simple on my last post, so'os I would not take too much of your attention away from matters at had, at the time. God bless. Also, good luck on the EJ tickets! I hope you can swing it!!! He's a blast. Steven say's "Hi". Neither one of us has been on the comp very much as of late. I have been busy re-doing Steven's old RGX211 Yamaha in Bright Red! He insisted. Looks good, but not store bought. A few more coats of laquer, and watch out. Joe: Break a leg at the bone bash! All I can say to that is : Godzirra, Godzirra, Godzirra!! Whoa-oohh! Randell

Joe: I am now working on Pentatonic scales. I had a version of them down, but now I feel the need to know them right, out right. John McCarthy is awsome. I have to work on getting back into school, too. Pell finally got all my (now correct) info, and I got a e-mail from them. I'm hoping to start a music section for/with the Disability rescorce center at my college. Maybe I can get more of the disabled to find a way to interface with the music programs in the computer. They have a better feel for music, more than most......it's just part of being for them. Mike: Best of on deployment stuff, and we will have a package waiting for ya when your done. Steven and I would love to just e-mail you sound files....but no such luck. It's not that straight forward for us, but, we are doing better with it. I still need to get Steven back his DXMG. I just have to reload it with pick-ups. I have been playing the Kelly more lately. Now I will have to find some more HZ pick-ups to load it with. Hope all in satchland are okay and happy. Peace. Randell

Mike: Stay safe out there! WE are glad to help and be helped. We just wish we had more help with the comp stuff. I have brothers in the industry/ one out on health/ one in the games industry/ that have been great. But $ and distance hold a small disadvantage. I can only do so much. School has helped, but some of my disabilities take president. I'm having fun with it when it works. My AA degree will help with getting a job...when they are there to get. Mark London: We are glad to help, and like Mike says, "We just may some day jam together!" Steven has gone "Red" happy. (Thanks Joe!) Now I have to figure out how to get all his guitars painted red. I'm also looking forward to putting together a "Show" for my class mates. I want to get video tape of the event. Look at me, I'm planning a video?/!!! Stay safe all in T2J. I'll plan some cameo's for the vid from Buzz man. (Cross your fingers) Time for more pentatonic scales practice.

Cube: Steven and I have been learning from each other for about 12 years. Steven just recently redoubled his efforts on the guitar. Now we are both getting into pro learning from John McCarthy. I have taught myself since 1974 when I was 14. Ooooopps ...just told my age. I could put just one year on my info but that would not explain my rhythm experience. John Bowlerwell: trems should be adjusted with each set of strings that are put on....if possible. You may have to tighten/loosen the two screws and claw plate (In back). Unlock your strings and tune to pitch. If the trem is too low, lett off the screws a few turns then retune. Now too high? Tighten back to flatten out the trem profile. I set up all ATN's guitars with a "custom" set up making all our trems with a flat profile. Aids in pulling/pushing up! Ever wonder why most trem guitars leave the backing plate off....that's why, to aid trem adjustments between string sets. BBKane: Tabs are not evil, people are. You need both! The tabs are just there to get the specifics when your working it out by ear. It does help to read tab. But ultimately, it's the feel of the music that takes persident. Yea! Joe: You said this!!!!! I agree. Now they all know, LOL. My B-day is Aug 9. (sounds like a chord name????!!!!)

Mowlie: Ouch! Leaves of three....and all that. Hope you are healthy soon....you should be out there with Joe, etc. Mike: Hope you like all the shredd Steven sent you. He wanted to put some of our first "Metal" stuff together for you. Joe: Now that Steven is in to "red" guitars (Thanks to you) I have to be thinking about getting a few "suprize Pink" gels for when we are being lighted on stage now. I have found that you have to be carefull lighting red ( most light men know why). I will bring that up on my tech stage class when school starts. September looks to be a great month for you. Wish me a happy B-Day , Aug 9. Aniversary of Nagasaki!! Be safe, Randell ATN

Thanx to marimarisrv for the b-day wishes. Optical studio: I am still having a identiy crisis with D'Addario forum. Now I'm a "Avarice" on their site. Just once i wish they could of gotten it right. Cube: Right on for logging on to D"Addario and setting them straight!! Maybe they will "Get it." Now. Nice to see you Matt King! Hope the T2J things works out great for you. Everyone: Be sure to pick up a Joe album, and get a T2J one for an extra. I would be there for a month picking up all the players here. I love to listen to you all!! P.s. I hope the trem advice I gave here helped. Randell

Cube: Did You get to do the thing w/Joe? I also put up an appologie on the D'Addario site. We will see what happens...but I should not have had to.....They should of just checked it out first........I seriously doubt that any one would of even tried if we did not grovel. Now they know there are more people in the world that just the east coast. Besides we can all learn alot from each other!!!! This could end us being a neat forum when we get done with them....lol I will at least LISTEN to each of their music FIRST be fore I make any comments or summerily decide in mass to ignore someone. " Let the music do the talking"......Joe Perry. Congratulations T2J project! A mention from Joe on rockline....and a definate "Must Have" album. Add it to the list for every one that shops LOL. Trutina: Hang in there! I love your tune on the T2J cd. Opticalstudio: Sorry I caused any confusion between you and Mark, or any one else here on T2J. We are disabled, but we have both re-started on the guitar. My re-start has me back at 1 year. Now I can say I have been taking professional lessons, thanks to you. We did not waste any of the time we spent that 12 years practicing in front of each other. Now we are really "Playing." Joe: The tour must be hectic (Not that your not used to that!) and fun. Time for me to get it together for school, and get a "Live" set up for Steven and I. That's the one thing I wish I could have done more of with him. Better days ahead!!! ATN

DCK: Yea, that's why we contradict each other from time to time. I'm excited about starting over on guitar. Now I can learn how to read TAB!!!! It's slow for me, but, I will not give up till I get it! I have a brain injury disability and Steven has a seisure(SP) disorder. We make it work 'cause we work together. Steven is the racer type, and I am a "Thespian." Diabetes is slowing me just of late, but no problem, I will keep going. No time to use it as an excuse. I just need help getting us (Steven and me) playing out at open mikes. I want to be prepaired (SP). It will be great. ATN Randell

Civgeek: Thank you for even noticing. Yes, both Steven and I do our utmost to "Overcome" our plight. We have to catch up on cd's at our cdbaby site. My oldest brother is putting a cd togther to help me learn how to make a web page. I know it is simple( for those whom don't have my disability) and I have even tried to take this class in college. Now I need to concentrate on the music! Ovation1: Thanks again Mike! (for the B-day wishes etc.) We both know that our stock is low on cdbaby, but the ordering has not set any records. (Yet) With yours, and others help, we will all be listening to each other sooner rather than later!!! That's a good thing folks! Opticalstudio: Please use the envelopes I gave you to send the needed cd's to cdbaby, when finances permit. We have had quite a few new people logging on to listen, read and try to order our product! Now we have to plan a "suprize" for our next album. Joe: This is getting even more fun than I had imagined. I had a dream that I was performing for a big crowd, playing a reworked Jimi tune. In it I was playing Jimi (the part of, as well as musically) and relating how great he feels about the new (new for Jimi) guitar players out there. I know no one can be him but him, so'os I just put my 21 century spin on it. CRAZY. Break a leg T2J album guys! Here we go! Peace, KTF ATN

Joe!!: A link to T2J!!! Awsome. Thanks Jon. DCK Mark: ATN would love to be concidered for the next T2J. When it first got started, I had thought that the project wanted "Joe" sounding music. I was wrong. "Wolves Love" or "Buzzy's World" and "Benediction" would be great for the next cd. I also wanted you to know that when we record, we do ALL the instruments. So'os ifin' you like the drums, bass, or what ever, that's all us. Most times it's just one of us at a time for all the instruments on a song. Sometimes it's a combo of both of us. That's only because it takes quite a bit for me to be over at Stevens. Once I return to the world of employment...things will proceed much quicker. Have you checked out Buzzy yet? Have I told you about "Travis Shredd and the Good Ole' Homeboys"? He is not touring, or performing that much right now. A Seattle-ite that was teaching. His web site will tell you more. Ask Lynch if he has any Independant stuff out there, and/or what he thinks of indie artists. KTF ATN

DCK: As for ATN. No one would have heard me at all if it were not for Steven Wilde and his family. Steven went thru and learned, by himself, how to engineer with some decent recoring gear that his family afforded. It's not that my family does not like what I do, they are just not into my type of music. A Boss digital stand alone platform is all you need to get decent recordings of your ideas down. Take the time to listen to them 1000 times, and then after you've had a chance to grow with them.......I'll make sure he sends you some of the new recordings. He's been wiped out lately. I am getting ready to return to school this next week. I promise not to dissapear, but my presence will be spotty at best for a few months. JOE: Break a leg tonight!!! Matt: Did you get tickets to the show there? I hope you did. If you have, Feel free to leave a review...We'd love to hear about it !! Congrats T2J!!!

Welcome new posters to T2J! AdamN: Check the "Music link here at Joe's site. You might get to listen to "Dog" right on the links to the album. I have a copy, but I'm not sure if I should copy it off for you. I don't want to upset Joe's manager. LOL. Opticalstudio: Don't worry about "Bad performances" because we got a great cut to work with when we were done. Plus, we have much more were going to do! We have had the gammit of reactions from the "public" and from true music fans. I choose to listen to the fans. DCK: Keep on Keeping on. I know you are busy. How/where do I submit my question for George Lynch? I will check here for your answer if you say it is okay. I'm going to have to use the comp for school work more now, school starts for me on Monday. Best of...on the latest project. ATN KTF

Ovation1: Hey Mike, glad you're back! Yes, ATN LOVED the review you gave us. It really gave us a good Idea what's up with the songs we create. Steven has carved out his own trail in music. We Jammed for a long time the other day and we got some good stuff down. All we need to do now is for me to get back into vocals, and have something to sing...of course. We don't want to preach at people, but we do want to get across the message. Boss 1600 and a good guitar and bass is all you need to get started, just remember to listen to your efforts 1000 times before you decide to send it "Out there." JOE: High praise from Plum Loco! I would be saying the same stuff, if'in I could pay my own way. School may prove to be helpfull in getting back to work after being out of it Medically for so long. Have fun out there Satch! It shows on your face an in your fingers........the public will respond as they will. I have to keep remembering that that could be any type of reaction, on any day, different each time. BoneBash soon.......Godzilla! Whooah! "Is there love in space?" It's right here right now. KTF ATN

I will have to postpone working on any vocal arrangements untill I can fix/replace the car. I will give Buzzy a call this monday from school. I will also try to keep up with you on regular e-mail. JOE: You have acheived the best of yourself with ITLIS! Now, people are figuring it all out. I love this stuff! Thank you for all the help and kind wordrs on Independant music. Sorry I won't be able to get to the "BoneBash." Ovation1:DCK: The D'Addario site found out about the guy who plays violin and does "Eruption". They loved it. NSPike: Be careful removing the double locks on any trem! Yes, you can opt out on SOME guitars w/Trems on the locking nut. But...be careful to make sure that your model of guitar has a string tension bar at the headstock. Your strings could "Jump" off the nut if your head stock is not designed to have this bar!!!! It is allways best to use a system "as is" to keep from torque-ing your neck. Give it a try, but be mindfull of which type of system you have. Above all, don't be afraid to experiment. That's how we all learn. Baddah: Sorry I have not responded to you until now. Steven tells me you have a new addition to the family? Soon? Congrats. I have been getting ready for college and have had bad luck with transportation, and that has taken all my attention as of late. God Bless and Rock on. Plum Loco: I have found numberous links to our album from your link on the web: Thank you from the depths of my heart. It is really cool that a player of your caliber has taken the time to show interest in us! Ovation1: Mike: I'm sure that 05's G3 will have quite a few guitarist we have suggested drop by for a jam. That's how it all works. I'm just glad that Joe gets to be JOE now! And WOW! Itlis is awsome. JOE: Are you having a easier time finding "Just the right place to graze your thumb" for those 7th and 8th order harmonics now? Sounds like it to me....not that you had all that much of a problem. I work on that all the time. It sets up all those "Accidental" harmonics. That's where alot of "tone" comes from. The movement of your right hand technique coupled with left hand tech that make "Live" flanging. Some of this is old material for some. Thanks for indulging me. KTF

DCK: Here is my question for RK. Any advice for new players? Techniques or tips he can give? Thanks. The post here have got me LOL. In the paper from Everet Washinton (state) They have a columb called "news of the wierd." A gentelman purchased a box of cuban cigars at great expense. He had them insured with Loyds of London be cause the investment was so high. After a period of months enjoying the fine delicacy, he claimed on his insurance. The insurance company wanted to understand what had happend. They were concidered "Destroyed" buy the insurance adjuster. They were just about to make good on the claim when an adjuster realized what had happend, stopped the claim and had the man put in jail! Not for fraud.....but for arson!!!! A man complained to police that his home was being borken into regularly. Police tried to catch the purpetrators with no luck. The man then purchased a expensive video security system whitch caught the theives stealing from the man's home. They promtly arrested the man. They were stealing canibus plants!!!! Lucky though, it's just a misteminor, he only proved that he had the plants with the video. The worst was when a hispanic male tried to cyphone gas from a motor home and got the WRONG tank! Gross! Ovation 1: Mike, I love this T2J cd. Enough so'os I will attempt to write a decent review this week end. JOE: Would you as BOC for me why my copy of Godzilla doesn't have the "whoaoas" in it. I some tought news: Cliff Tinsley, a friend from my school who put together the "Wind Chime" Project a year ago....had a very serious heart attack. hes resonable now and will survive. God bless Cliff!! Hang in the buddy! KTF P.S. Hey Badda! How are you? Suggestion..Baddah Take the caps lock off , Please.
